I notice a triple fan set up on the Relassy rack and a single fan set up on the Barrina rack.

Great eye! The relassy lights out out a fairly substantial amount of heat, whereas the barrinas do not… I didn’t even realize how that could affect the growth! Good news is that it shouldn’t play too much of a factor since both fans are so high they aren’t moving the crops, but it will definitely have an impact on growth. Might have to redo this now 😅

Question. How do y’all remember what day it is when you are growing your greens? Do you write the date down on the day y’all plant and then mark each day? What is y’all’s system in remembering how many days your greens have been weighted, blacked out and the under the loght?

@On The Grow - Loving ur guys side by side comparisons. Exactly what I'm looking for to get started. I just wanted to say: In the future when you're making comparison videos, you might want to consider putting the comparison statistics side by side. Its difficult for people like me who are both impatient and have poor working memory to hold on to two sets of information and wait for you to tell me what the results are. Food for thought ;). Also you should definitely be doing blind taste tests if you're gonna wear the lab coat lol. All suggestions aside, I am a new and loyal fan of your channel and will now be watching all your content so thank you!

Thanks for the support and I hear your suggestions! We did blind taste tests for a while, but they take forever to include, generally adding around 7-10 minutes per video. I'll see if there's a way to make it faster... thanks again for the support!

@@OnTheGrow I totally get it lol your videos look so seamless its easy to miss how much time ya'll must spend prepping and editing and such. Seems like you could have 2 Petri dishes that are marked on the bottom. The tester could fill the dishes and look away while the camera person does a quick switcheroo. A genuine unbiased flavor analysis could add an element of suspense and reinforce the hook you've already established in your thumbnail. Suspense in storytelling is key for dopamine release and is more often than not what keeps people watching videos until the end. Also, watching someone have a genuine response releases oxytocin and is what make reaction videos so popular. Sorry for going off like this lol just sharing the perspective from the other side of the screen and trying to help. Please keep up the excellent work and thanks for your efforts!

Tried the barrina led lights myself so thanks for the recommendation! But since I've got then I've removed the plastic tube and get much better PAR values so maybe with your extensive work you could try some microgreens with and without. Again thanks for your work guys awesome channel.

It's me again, off topic again. Have you ever had this happen? I had four trays, 2 spicy salad and 2 heirloom salad mix, planted from the same batch of seeds as dozens of other successful trays, same soil used, etc. After 3 days under weight, in each of these four trays, the only germination occurred at the edges and corners of the tray, leaving a perfect oval in the center of the tray with ZERO germination. ditched them, but cannot figure out why these four trays germinated/failed like that.

Hi there, Little question for you, do you know how much we can get in weight per month and what it worth, as an average of course, if I have 100x of 1020 size trays for microgreens? Thank you!
@OnTheGrow3 жыл бұрын
We aim to get $15 minimum per tray, but on average around $20-30 per tray… it depends on your market, how you sell, and a ton of other factors really. We talk about this a so much more in our eBook on our website and Amazon!

Do you have access to a par meter? I would love to know what level microgreens grow best under. I'm sure u know that plants don't use or go by lumen. So if you have a par meter and can maybe measure your lights and let us know on your next video that would be awesome. Thank you and keep up the good work, really enjoy watching and learning.

A lot of the videos we have use a PAR meter! Check out some of our previous lighting videos on the same lights and you’ll see the PAR!

Hey guys I've recently tried growing dun pea microgreens in the seed sprouted trays I tried doing the no medium grow and with using the small green tray as a cover on top during germination I noticed that the outer perimeter of my tray did not germinate nearly as quickly as the middle of the tray. I assume that is because the outer edge is not holding as much moisture. I had a 5 pound paver on top, so my question to you is, how can I stop the outer edge from losing moisture so quickly? Btw I love your guys channel thank you so much for all of the knowledge!

Thanks for the video. I purchased the Relassy light on Amazon because it was a good deal, I think. :) Do you guys have a PAR meter? It would be a cool video, and helpful to those of us without meters, if you did PAR readings at many different heights for all of the lights you have. Then when we buy them, we would know how to use them for different plants. Also, maybe do readings with 3 vs 4 Barinna lights on a shelf, etc. You could keep a chart with the values on your website? Thanks!

Okay been binge watching you guys for a few hours. First you two are adorable together. Do you have a video of your story. I'm assuming on the grow, which is amazing name by the way, has to do with the fact you're doing it in a trailer. Also have this horrible habit of jumping into everything both feet and my wife isn't as big of a fan so our compromise is what is a good way to get started in this I was thinking basic sprouts.
