In Southwest Brooklyn, we pronounce it, " Broccoli Robbb"🤣🤪, but your way of saying it is better and the right way. Sometimes I'll make a pound of Rigatoni and cut the sausages into slices and mix in the oil I sautéed the garlic in. It's a great dish. Thank you.

I will try your method on the broccoli rabe. I love broccoli but have struggled with broccoli rabe. (It's always bitter.)

Clear as Mud how to cook rabe just right from the video. I think peeling the stalks is important . You have to test the peeled stalks for softness after about 5 minutes braising / steaming method.
