I haven’t read the comments…yet…but I’m guessing that there will be a slew of them stating that ‘Purdy is average because he hasn’t won a SB’……..football is a team sport..the team wins, not just the QB…had McCaffrey not fumbled onto the opening drive, would the game have progressed differently?…if Luter,Jr hadn’t been in the wrong spot and the wrong time, would the SB have turned out different?…maybe Burford puts a chip block on Chris Jones, maybe Brock has 1.5 seconds more, and completes the pass to Aiyuk…talent wise..overall talent wise..Brock is among the best..quit raggin on Brock for chrissakes…he’s doing his job

Also, Nick Wrong and that guy who ranked Brock 13th. Erik Dayne posts in many You Tube 49ers threads just to bash Brock. Last night, I was reading an X thread where several were throwing up the old weapons argument. Some were even saying what a great offensive line he had! Then, I realized some of these twits actually thought WRs and RBs were part of the offensive line!

Larry it’s not because he hasn’t one the big one, it’s because he has had the lead in 4th qtr of Super Bowl 3x and blew it. He is great, but he’s also not clutch under pressure. He needs to win to end the conversation

I hate when critics say if Lamar, or Mahomes or Burrow played on 9ers how much better team would be. No one knows that. Maybe Lamar or Mahomes and Burrow would of cracked under being with Shannahan. Pressure to learn the way he teaches the game/offense. No one knows. What matters is Brock is doing great right here right now all the other noise is pure speculation and bullshit!

Meanwhile Purdy is first in how many categories. I don't understand how you can be more first smgdh. He did better than every qb they said WOULD do better hypothetically lol. They act like other qbs touchdowns are worth 11 points. Purdy had the fourth highest yards per attempt in nfl history, with the top three being from the nineteen forties and fifties, meaning Purdy through it farther, more often, more accurately than any qb any of us has ever seen in our lives, LITERALLY. All these other qbs were in the league at the time lol. Mahomes had tyreek, watkins and hardmam, with kelce and kareem hunt as one of the best backs in the league at the time. He didn't put up these numbers. I dunno what it's gonna take for them to give the man some credit

Kyle is the engine. Jimny G also reached a Super Bowl and Jimmy hasn't set the world on fire without Kyle. Brock is QB 1 for now but I'm not convinced he's anything more than a slightly more mobile Kirk Cousins with less arm strength and yeah fair or unfair winning the whole thing is what matters. We're not fuQing Detroit

Jimmy had a ferocious number one defense and a middle of the pack offense with average numbers. Purdy has the number one offense and set multiple records with a middle of the pack defense. What are you talking about

And the prolific Purdy offense scored a whopping 2 more points than what Jimmy G put up in the previous Super Bowl. Woo hoo.
