special teams has been horrible. you would think they would cut lueter jr by now. dude is the reason we lost the superbowl. and somehow he still makes the 53. and he screwed us again yesterday. the dude is not a good corner and a liability on special teams. i cant understand why hes still on the team? and our problems with the run defense is ALL LYNCH FAULT. 100% he decided to completely dismantle all the depth we had on the DL. letting solid players go to free agency that were good value players. high quality but not super expensive. he lets them all walk so he can bring in a super expensive overrated player. like dee ford or hargrave. we lost DJ Jones, Darden Key, Omenhu and Ebukam. i mean there are so many good players that he let go that we could have kept just to bring in an overpriced overrated player. i mean dee ford was great but he was injured al the time. but hargrave is just terrible value. and the thing is we NEED depth on that DL so they can keep players fresh throughout the game. by time we are at the end of th game our defensive line is exhausted and nobody is able to make tackles or shed blocks and we just allow crazy holes to open up. its weird that TB didnt do what arizona did to us and just keep running it up the middle because TB could have easily beat us if they kept running it at the end of the 3rd and throughout the 4th quarter. but even at their best the run D isnt great. because they got rid of the good players. DJ Jones was amazing against the run and he was great interior pass rush. he was a great value player they should have kept. and they def should have kept deforest buckner instead of armstead. idk all i can say is that this is all Lynch's fault. lynch completely dismantled the team, blew every 1st round pick (except bosa). gave away 3 first round picks. overpaid MID players like aiyuk. john lynch is terrible and he gets way too much love from the fans. it makes no sense to me because the dude ruined everything. and he should be getting more heat than shanahan gets.

Puni is an incredible pick. But Colton is bad, just bad. We need, need to run the ball, ground hards was unacceptable. The run blocking is not good. Trent has not been good. And Kyle needs to scheme up better. Do different shit. Two backs, lets really mix it up and get schemey.

It really bugs me that we have been by far the most injured team in the NFL all year and have had players face horrendous personal tragedies on top of that - and we went the road without our best defensive back and our best defensive lineman at 70%, gutted out a win to get above .500 - and all we can do is complain about it. Detroit won a game Sunday night they had no business winning and everyone praises their “grit”. Well, we’ve shown way more grit than them to still be alive and control our own destiny for the playoffs.

The niners put the “special” in special teams. I get anxiety every time moody trots onto the field. Punts are also sweat inducing, its either gonna be a terrible outcome, or a fair catch. And on fair catches, they still cant really catch it, so even that is terrifying.

I really don't think we have much of a problem. Cut Moody now, bring back Carlson and make a few adjustments with our kickoff strategy. We actually did well against the Bucks on Special Teams coverages. Cowens should have moved out of the way on that muff play. Otherwise we should have won fairly easy by 9 points. Moody is the Achilles heel and needs to be cut immediately or we'll be in deep s_ _ _ t further down the road and regretting not cut him before he destroys our season and hopes for a playoff run.

I only watched highlights of the 49er game and was NOT impressed. However, I did watch Pittsburg and Washington play a game of serious "smash mouth" football and from what I can see the 49ers are going to need more speed and toughness to make the playoffs and I'm not sure the 49er's current coaching staff is up for the challenge. They are a good team, but they don't seem to realize that their opposing teams are getting better! Thus far, the Niner's conservative approach late in games actually inspires opposing teams!
