Did u know the backstory about this song? Taeyang wrote this song when he was broke up with his first love and first girlfriend. The girl picture that burning at background is her. Now they are married and have a baby. Love this couple so much. All fans just love them and give all the bless since very beginning. Forever be the most beautiful song ever.

BigBang , they're borned to be legends. they're the idols of idols ,there's a word that said don't believe your kpop friend who say they don't know BigBang . Back in the days ,they influence kpop label and so many idols in these days becoming idol because of them. I am an Exo-L and , although I don't listen to Big Bang, I respect them much, they are legends ! I came to hear the song in "Fantastic Duo" show where he sings with a female fan, I remember I had goosebumps all over the body and I immediately searched for the song on KZbin !! On my Spotify playlist "WOW Korea" I added this amazing song the moment I made the list , alongside with G Dragon's "Untitled " song, another masterpiece. No, the girl didn't die, but she ended up.. being his wife ☺️

This song tells the story of how much he misses the girl he fell in love with, but then broke up with. He was already enormously popular when making an earlier video. They needed extras and a background dancer for this video, so his friend mentioned that he knew this model/actress/dancer who would be a good choice. She did get the part and after seeing her he fell for her big time. He pursued and they dated her for some time, but they eventually broke up. He wrote and performed this emotionally charged mega hit song about how he loved and missed her. After a time they got back together and he proposed. They got married in 2018 and then they had a baby boy in 2021. He seemed to go off the grid after the birth of the baby and was happily living a more private life with his new family, but he is active again in music and appearances. The girl's stage name is Rhythm Gangster. She was a contestant on a show to find someone to duet this with Taeyang. I understand that they only had a couple of hours practice for her to learn this arrangement and rehearse together (there is a YT video that shows this.) They only came in SECOND place on the show!!! The first place was good - but this song is more my taste and their performance is imo outstanding.

@@30goals I guess I was thinking of their music when Seungri was still a member. I do think GD's voice is really good and often not appreciated. He can sing in many different styles and bring different tones - he has amazing falsetto - he does so much of the harmonising and ad libs - he really feels the music with his voice and can express emotion so well. Like all members of BIGBANG - they fulfill their roles in BIGBANG and have crossover - but all have the skill to do more than that; which is why they can change genres so frequently and easily. They are always creative and if they think it, I think they have the skills to be able to do it.

Fun fact: "Eyes Nose Lips" is a breakup song wrote by Taeyang, and he actually sang the song to his ex-girlfriend when they broke up. However, it must have had the opposite effect on her, because years later she is now his wife. ;) The billboard picture of the girl that is burning at the end of the MV was the actual picture of his ex-girlfriend, now wife. :D You should hear an English version of "Eyes Nose Lips." It's one of the most covered songs in the industry and there have been several Kpop idols, and singers from all over the world in general, who have covered the song.
