"Soul Defender" is an awesome and innovative blend of speed-power/thrash with a touch of metalcore from their new EP "Lovebites EP II". My fav songs on the new EP are the 3 that don't have MVs.

Aw, this is too awesome. Bro-papa, Bro-mama and Bro-baby enjoying together a lullaby sang and played by valkyries🤘 (yes Bro-baby girl, you're right! They're princesses 🥹🤘) But thing is, Lovebites have such a wholesome attitude they might be a very positive influence towards children. She really gets it, Haruna's drumming is quite essential for this song! And it's fast, over 209 bpm!

I would agree that this is one of the lesser songs in their catalog. For a lot of bands, this would be in the upper tier, so even a lesser Lovebites song is still really good. I do like that they don't always do thrash, they mix in other styles, which, because of their musicianship and songwriting, they can still make amazing songs. I think that versatility will help with longevity, since they won't be repeating themselves like some of my old favorites got stuck doing.

In my opinion, this is the fifth best song on the five song EP. I doubt it would make most LOVEBITES' fan's top 20 favourite songs. But its still quite a good song. I look forward to you eventually checking out "Where's Identity?" and "The Bell in the Jail" sometime in the future, as they are easily the two heaviest songs on the EP, and in my opinion also the two best songs.

The new "EP II" has 5 songs with different styles. However, the one constant with all five songs is that Fami's bass is a bit more heavy and is more to the forefront with Midori and Miyako. She just isn't rhythm, but is more involved with the song with her style of playing. Where's Identity is a very fast song, some say 200 BPM, and Bell in the Jail reminds me of Megadeth from their Symphony of Destruction days. For the Little Princess, if you guys have not done it yet, react to Frozen Serenade with her. She will get her Ballet fix with Asami in the middle of the song. Until next time!!!

The thrash song "Where's Identity" is good, but for me "The Bell in the Jail" is better, at least more to my liking. It has one of their heaviest riffs ever. Both songs are audio only because they just came out on the new EP and haven't been performed yet.
