First solo was Midori - second was Miyako. On all of their Live recordings M&M are hard-panned with Midori in the Left ear and Miyako in the Right. It is harder to tell on audio recordings and MVs because they mix Midori a _little_ louder on the Left and Miyako a _little_ louder on the Right. But you can always think Midori/Left and Miyako/Right on Live videos.

This was the third Japanese band I had been introduced to in decades. They immediately took my second spot (at the moment). Since then (about 5 years), I’ve been introduced to many Japanese metal groups. Lovebites is still in my top two of now 30+ bands. To reiterate, I have found countless new bands, but these ladies are always vining for the top spot. Frankly, it is difficult (IMO), to find a better guitar duo and Miyako’s composition is always stellar. I absolutely love this band. ❤️

The other ballad you are talking about is Edge Of The World, I guess. Fami is playing the same beat with M&M when they are playing harmonizing solo, and it sounds like harmonizing triplet with Fami....mmm, such a bassist.

To me, this song sounds like an anthem or an uplifting song,hav so many spirit in there, very suitable to be played at sporting events. Love it

Your reference sounds like it was for C.S. Lewis's "The lion, the witch and the wardrobe" where the wardrobe opened up to a different realm. Not Harry Potter.

The ironic thing for me about this EP is that the 3 songs that are audio only are the ones I like best. Next song - Stand and Deliver MV for more Fami bass play

I love all of Lovebites songs but when it comes to a Miyako composition they are so expressive and progressive just like a John Petrucci composition, so many changes and so freaking powerful
