Is it just me, or do Aussie's who migrate to the US more likely to lose their accents, and become 'Americanized'? I've noticed with kids I went to school with, who had accents when they moved here to the US at the end of grade school immediately lost their accents by high school.. And of course Mel Gibson, now Brody... Is this a common phenomenon? Or is it something that only occurs early in development (pre 20's)? Because Nicole Kidman has hers still, as do other Aussie actors working in the US.. I dunno...

+Sakura Blossom Same with Sia. She still has a little bit of an accent but is slowly loosing it. What a shame

I bet if she’s in her home country and has a few drinks it all comes back. I lived in Virginia for 6 years and by the end of it I picked up a little bit of a drawl. It’s totally gone now, but if I go drinking anywhere in the south and am around southerners it def comes back. It’s pretty weird actually because you become aware of it. At least I do

Why do people always refer to whores when hearing Hamburg? It's just that one street. Hamburg is awesome.

It is! Awesome things to see & do there, like the Soviet submarine museum ship in the harbour, & the transatlantic steamer you can go look around & the Chocolate museum where they let you taste the chocolate at every stage of the process, or the Miniatur Wunderland or the Maritime Museum. When I was there before, there was the Hamburger Dom, one of the world's biggest funfairs, then the next weekend there was Rockspektakel in the Rathausmarkt & I got to see Bomba Estereo live, & then the next weekend they had the Alstervergnügen, with 2 stages for live bands, & 2 stages for sound systems with DJs playing EDM, & loads of stalls for things like candy-floss, & every night they'd have these amazing fireworks. I love Hamburg. If I could move there, I surely would.

I feel her on not having a home base. I’ve Lived in the States a long time and my Mum hasn’t lived where we grew up for years and she just moved again after I started getting used to where she lived. It makes me feel a lot like a tourist when I visit. My sister and her live outside Melbourne but I’ve never spent more than a week at a time in that city. It’s alien to me but who the fuck wants to go back to Perth anyway!...lol

No hardcore/punk stations in philly. Two rock stations that barely play that. Guess it's better that way, would hate to hear shit played out to the point you kick the radio in and chuck it out on 95. Supposed to be home to the punk rock girl but couldn't be further from the truth

Maybe stop being a deadbeat mom and explain to your 3 kids that they should spend time with their father Josh Homme, instead of turning them against him, which she did. They had a girl and two boys. The daughter is the oldest and has had a restraining order against her father since she was 15, maybe two or three years ago. The middle kid (at age 10) refused to spend time with his dad and the judge accepted that it was his own decision, officially ending the requirement to follow the visitation order. Whatever Josh did to those three kids, if it was all true and he's as bad as they say, why would they send the five-year-old son to spend time with his dangerously abusive father ? If the two older kids are better off without their dad, why make exception for the five-year-old ? The judge gave her 60 hours of community service as punishment for violating the visitation order with the five-year-old son. Regarding her sentence, she said, "I've already received a lot of support and look forward to helping those in need." She thought she was at an award ceremony for her parenting ? She's a deadbeat mom and got a super light sentence for it. The judge is allowing her to continue to turn the kids against their father. Parental alienation is a terrible thing. I hate it and everyone else should too. It's child abuse.

Yeah… things just got a lot worse for her recently on this front. Some crazy fucked up shit. Basically her current bf forging restraining orders on her behalf. Ooph. Def not a good look with kids involved. There’s really nothing worse than a parent alienating their kids against another parent. Judges don’t fuck around with that stuff, and it’s one of the worst things a divorced parent can be accused of in court.

Gawd this guy has the lamest questions
@xObscureMars3 жыл бұрын
They are all closed questions which only foster yes or no responses instead of giving her much chsnce to elaborate. For example " do u think there are enough female rockers? Yes or no versus "tell me what u think about the state of women in rock?"
