I’ve seen that Sourpuss show on YT before and whats funny about the Sourpuss performance is Bikini Kill sitting there watching shooting daggers and looking so bored/jealous of Brody. Weird that his ex gf and future gf were in the same room and not knowing it lol. I think they were kind of professionally jealous of this young girl performing so well and then you add the personal layer of Toni/Brody dating Tim on top of it and that little video clip is a gem

@@bklmsoul Wow what a unique take. You just spit out the same cliches and opinions of Rancid, Brody and Bikini Kill that every review of the past 30 years has. Bikini Kill is considered “ innovative “ for 1 reason only- They combined the favored counterculture politics of feminism with punk rock. That’s it. I like the band but musically and vocaly their is nothing innovative about them, they’re by the numbers punk rock that often times sounds amateur as fuck. But they had all the right opinions. Which is why the critics love them. Put different inconsequential lyrics in those songs and they would have been ignored or made fun of. As far as the video goes, you see what you wanna see since you’re a fan of Bikini Kill - they look disinterested and I guarantee they disliked Brody. We all know she sounds like Courtney and it’s well documented what happened between BK and Courtney

That was certainly part of their "thing" as well. If it's about "hot takes" well, 2+2 still equals 4. I simply don't see any "professional jealousy." As far as things "we all know" - I dunno nuffin about rancid or how Brody Dalle sounds before this so you're blessed with my instant and fresh opinion. Brody was nothing before meeting Tim and became best punk queen forever when his midas blessing touched her and after she left him she lost this blessing and unfortunately there is no more Distillers and no more good songs from Brody....sad story But no one can change that Rancid best punk band ever and Distillers is a best lady vocal punk band ever as well

Obviously this series is about Tim's life and he's the focus, so I'm not necessarily referring to this series (which I'm absolutely loving!), but Branden Steineckert deserves so much more respect than he seems to get. He's an amazing drummer and one of the nicest guys in rock and roll. That sounds like hollow, cliché bullsh!t, but he is a genuine, thoughtful, and legitimately kind human being. PMA all day.
