I have literally blubbed the whole way through this vlog. Today would have been mine and my late husband’s 16th anniversary of meeting and this is exactly the holidays we loved and experienced (in fact loch lomand where you’ve previously been is where we had our honeymoon) ! The addition of Ziggy just made it extra special as we had a ginger Tom named Zippy and he was our everything (he died aged 17 just after my husband). I’ve loved this series of vlogs, thank you for taking us along with you. X

I have really enjoyed these vlogs. I'm an American and my husband and I want to plan a Great Britain trip but we focus more on nature than big cities when we travel. This series has been a nice mixture of both and shows parts of Great Britain that I don't typically see.

I just bought my first flat and today we finally got the sofa which the last piece of furniture we were waiting for. The first thing I put on the TV was this vlog and it was also my boyfriend’s first time watching your channel! We did almost the same road trip earlier this year and absolutely adored watching this vlog and pointing out all the amazing places that we had been to! im sold on that accommodation for ziggy alone, what a sweet, sweet boy! then the added bonus of it also being a beautiful & cosy place too, stunning! i really love the lakes, my sister lives pretty close by and we visited keswick not too long ago. this was lovely to see places i recognised and have been to as well! we hiked up to surprise view at the start of a 6-ish hour walk we did around that area and it really was lovely...and a surprise! This has been a lovely, cosy, fun and informative series, thank you both for sharing it with us! 💖

What a fab series, really enjoyed it. The place you stayed was so lovely, just are sort of place. You should look in to a motorhome trip its amazing. We have a 34 year old motorhome called Sofia and we take her everywhere. Next Friday we are taking her to Europe for a big road trip through, France, Italy, Germany and Belgium. We document it all on our little channel the highs and lows, Sofia brings us so many adventures. Take care guys Sarah and Lee

I left England when my family emigrated to Canada in 1965 and have never been back, but my heart still belongs there. Absolutely lovely vlog. The Lake District looked amazing but my other half would worry about the roads, we have quite a big car, he doesn’t like country lanes much. Your accommodation was really gorgeous. That cat was friendly, not sure I could let it in be sneezing my head off and eyes would be itchy, had a cat once but it was full of fleas and I was the only one that got bitten, better with dogs xx Stella

Never got a boat though, so that will be something we will look into, it looks fun, loved the cottage just for us shame it's only for 2 it looks stunning and you can see the owners take pride it in. Bournemouth is a tourist spot in the height of summer but you can still find parking, spots on the beach and places to eat. This was impossible for almost all of those things but we knew that, hence why we said we'd return outside of the summer. It just so happened we added this spot on after our Scotland adventure, it was always a bonus spot ☺️ Thank you!!

We had the same experience with Cheddar Gorge at Easter last year. It was so ridiculously busy that it was no fun. We drove through, turned around and left! People were also parking stupidly. This country can be beautiful but it’s not big enough for all the tourists sometimes! Really enjoyed this series. Thanks!

Great video. If you are looking for a fun road trip, take a ferry on Brittany Ferries to Normandy or Brittany, they go from Poole or Portsmouth, not far from where you are based. There are so many pretty towns there to explore. We have been several times in the last few years and love it there.

Loved the series! When you go to Ireland stay at the Ashford Castle for a few nights if you can! Expensive but worth it for a splurge! We did the private Hawk walk and it was amazing! I'll never forget it!
