I know it would be obscenely expensive and difficult to cast, but instead of having the continuation of The Doctor's story for series 13 I'd rather have a season of one-off episodes featuring random Doctors. One week we're on board the actual Titanic with the 9th Doctor trying to find an alien refugee before time runs out. Next week David Bradley stars as the 1st Doctor trying to solve a murder-mystery before the killer can get to his now-elderly grandaughter Susan. Next week we find the 8th Doctor in the middle of a Sontaran battlefield trying hopelessly to end the war. You get the idea. Never going to happen but a boy can dream.

I thought it would be awesome if the TV show did an episode that was just a collection of 5 8 minute long short trips. Have some framing plot where the TARDIS is broken down and her and the companion are sharing stories waiting for it to be fixed. It could be with past doctors or just the current team but it would be perfect to get some very silly ideas that wouldn't work as full episodes onto TV

DAVIS you are the canon sire it’s the only one i’ve read! i’d recommend it; it’s written entirely in first person from the perspective of the prison governor. it’s really fun seeing 12’s continuous escapes and general antics from the POV of a stranger. also has one of the most brutal, gory and disturbing scenes in who i’ve ever seen. there’s a good balance there and it’s a lot of fun. basically i just wanna see 13 escaping her cell like it’s nothing to go annoy some judoon, it’s all i ask for

Paul Magrs isn't the only writer to make himself canon- John Lucarotti once did a short story where he (as in the actual him who wrote Doctor Who episodes) met the First Doctor and had some wine together in the inn from the Massacre. The First Doctor is apparently aware that he is a fictional character, and Lucarotti dismisses him as a hallucination until the waiter tells him the Doctor paid the bill
