We've all been there Stan, after 20 hours of plowing, and level 11 frustration we get a little bit short with people, it's nice to see the other side of the coin too for the other viewers out there that haven't experienced this. Also it's really human of you to say I feel like a tool after you see her with the little kid I've experienced something very similar many times and it's humbling.

Tread Lightly Services LLC. Honestly having a little kid is no excuse at all, I have a toddler and I would not expect someone to go out of their way for me

Yes we’ve all been there and wanted to do the same thing but haven’t. On the flip side there are those of us that are out there supporting our little ones that we’d also like to get home to see. It’s a two way street, that most people who have never plowed ever think about.
@Iamthathillbilly5 жыл бұрын
Brent Wanamaker yep, it goes both ways, people (myself included) have a way of not seeing past their own nose and realizing how they are affecting those around them, easy to not want to be inconvenienced parking away from the door but it’s also easy to forget there’s a real person who now has to work around your car
@1amaker5 жыл бұрын

Man I don't miss doing snow removal in Eagan. A few years ago me and my guy we're the only ones to show up for the biggest snow event of the season and the company didn't prepare or get help for us we worked 80 hours straight and in a 7 day period had 123 hours in. Your body just goes on auto pilot you can't fell anything but exhausted yet once you get home there's no way to fall asleep. I remember one of the sites where there is a coffee place it wasn't even your site to plow and you see me and my buddy working when nobody showed up and you took time out of your day and back dragged all the sidewalks you could reach it was a site where we weren't allowed to use four-wheelers or the compact tractors so you saved me and my friend almost four hours of work and we were able to catch some sleep because of you I appreciate dit so much at the time and now that I think back on it I just wanted to say thank you

Private lots can suck for sure, I do alot of city and some private and we have a system here called Know Your Zone, and alot don't hear about it or ignore it and last run was a complete mess. Graders did their thing and least 2 hours later we got down to that section of street and people were moving vehicles as we were blocking the street with snow, say the least we piled a couple piles making it difficult but do able to get out, wasn't 100% intentional just no where to pile snow after the directions we were given for certain criteria on that street and absolutely hell bound and no where to put snow we had to run it couple blocks away by loader....let's just say gong show for everyone

I used to plow in the late 80's early 90's. One of my accounts was a a few White Castles. I was just about done with the lot and some drunk comes and parks where I was plowing. I told him hey, I'm in the middle of plowing here. He said I'll be right back. After 20 minutes, I took all the snow that I could and buried that car in and went off to my next lot. Came back an hour later to clean it up and the car was gone. Was one of those plowing moments I always said I would do and finally did. Very satisfying. LOL
