Trucks Plowing deep snow

I got just got the work truck 3/4 ton Chevy full cab with a Boss DTX plow. I just plow the Clinic and Wellness Center parking lots. Got luv this time fo the year.

I have the same 2022 f350 with plow prep and even with my wide out it would squat right down to the bump stops. I added sumo spring bumps to the front and it doesn’t even squat now. If I ever get a new plow I would definitely look into that arctic with a western mount

I’d love to see some packed down snow that the normal plow in float goes over, put that Boss plow on it and activate down pressure to see how much of a difference it makes. I have not seen a single video showing how effective the down pressure mode is on a lot of these new plows.

Boss is a game changer with that active down pressure plus the weight of the plow it scrapes amazing I go through 2 cutting edges a year but well worth it especially with the dxt steel v and the added wings, I have to take both wings off or I hang over a lot into other lanes while driving

Got one plow quote, then i quit. Tried charging me 1400 for the season for a driveway thats 2 cars long by 1.5 car lengths wide

What market are you in? There’s 100 variables that go into a snow quote. There could be snow storage issues with a driveway that small and that’s why the price is what it is.. I do one individual driveway after all my commercial and I get $950 for the season. It’s 2 wide at the bottom, 3 at the top and only about 2 truck lengths total. Snow storage is no problem, our 90+” season two years ago we still had room for 90” more.. If there was no room to store snow, the price would be a lot more.. Same market as Stan.
