I would love to hear more about leasing. No one can ever give me a straight answer about the benefits of it.
@CheckeredFlagPodcast8 ай бұрын
You can get more tax benefits and less loss. But you also don’t own the equipment, so less equity. Since it’s for a business, a lease can be written off way more than a loan can be. So you don’t own it but you also don’t “pay” for it. If at the end of the lease you like this equipment, you can buy it for the price - cost of leasing. Or not. If it’s a pile of junk, you’re not stuck with the rest of the cost, only what you paid.
@drakegallant95658 ай бұрын
With purchasing as well out right you can only write off the interest on the item if financed and the depreciation

When leasing doesn’t count as money owed as a loan yes there is many leasing options as Stan said from lower lease payments higher buy out end of lease to dollar buy outs all depends upon how you are using machine loading salt lease get rid of it at end of term

Would definitely like to hear your ideas on leasing vs buying. Also wondering, since you’re buying(leasing) new equipment to test out, why wouldn’t you switch to a more winter rated tire since the majority of your work would be in the winter? Or does it balance out?

Stan go buy you some 3 ft or 4 ft Chainz put a hook on one in you have four points you can hook with and it will change your life from having to drag out those long chains everytime. Hook your binder straight to the trailer your chain to your machine tighten down you cannot get a machine more secure

Nice unit. We looked at these for our little city as well. We ended up going with a John Deere 324L little loader. Built by Liebehr. Has rear wheel steering as well. Can turn around on itself in like a 10 ft circle. Controls similar to this. Have a 15 ft HLA we bought for it as well. Might be something to look at as well. 74 hp Yanmar. No def. High lift option, rear wheel steer. Amazing snow machine

I take it how wide them pushers are that the only lot them 3 machine will ever plow. Not like you can run them down the street 4 blocks to the next lot. With out trailering the pushers evert move. Leaseing a rip off if you dont buy out at end of a lease. It you dont like a pick up too they ding you thousands for every mark waren brakes paint chips any thing they can find to bring the total damage cost up at end of a lease.. been there done that forced to buy out every time or take a f#$#kin . Id never own a kabota what a nightmare to work on even a simple belt change rip half machine a part to get to it. Bobcat use to be the go too but not since the buy out. They cut the Quality so bad so there main brand stands better. Yet cost is the same as cat wacker all in the same 97hp an over 12,000 lbs. My new 2024 wacker 50 with the heavy duty traction tracks will on a head to head with a kabota, bobcat, cat on a head to head push in the same hp an weight class the wacker will push the other 3 across a black top or gravel pit like a 1200lb bale of hay. But the other 3 cant even begine to move the wacker 50 that cat 299 an bobcat t770 tracks are locked up an the wacker pushes them home. But they just dig holes trying to push the wacker. It not a year you lease or buy a macgine for snow. Normaly we have over 7 feet of snow but they called an said mild an very little snow. Dec we were still having big thunder storms and rain down pours dec 25 was a rainy day. Not had that in 42 years. Today we been sitting at -22 since week ago Friday an maybe 3" of snow . Monday will be -7 and rest of the week 0 to +7 with rain Wednesday an Thursday. March is to be low of -15 to +10 were normaly we at 40 below an 3 foot snow dumps every week. Love it.

Between the salesman knowing nothing more than the obvious and the over use of “pilot controls” I had to move along. Pilot controls means it’s hydraulically operated, not electro hydraulic, or EH.

Apparently you've never plowed in a cat 906h2 diff lock standard. NW Indiana We have 2 for plowing. Just got 30 inches off the lake. You need to try JCB TM320 is an articulated telehandler with a lifting capacity of 6,390 lbs and a reaching capability of 17 ft 1 in. It is powered by a 125 hp JCB EcoMAX engine. Same engine is a skid steer just modified I personally operate it I'm 7 foot tall. I can stack it high with the extendable boom. Less snow I have to haul out.

Looks like Mecalak and Volvo are working together. That loader looks much like an old LS20 I used to own. Is that a 6 or 7’ wide machine? I recommend you try out a Deere 324 compact Loader. I predict you’ll discover the actual ultimate compact loader. The “stereo steering makes it unbeatable. Sorry to hear about Lucy!

Ive only used 906, 908, 926 cat wheel loaders. They have all those "pilot" controls. Parts are easy to come by, and are generally a great machine. Looks like a pretty solid machine tho.

Hi stan, I'd absolutely love to hear the pros, cons and etc of leasing. I've got a small, start up, tree and property service here in ontario canada. I'm on the fence on whether or not i should buy a compound tractor with an all season setup, but the price and when i should or shouldn't bite the bullet is what's got me nervous about signing that piece of paper. I know i will make money with it but if i could know if there's a good and bad way to own said piece of equipment and/or others. I feel this would be a great topic to touch on as there's thousands of people that are in the same predicament, look forwards to this possible future video, good luck and have a good one!😁

They have them on almost all machines in western australia stan as well have a lot of mining, I see so many cars, pickups, semi’s that don’t have battery isolators and get flat batteries alot, another thing with western australian mining we have battery isolators and starter motor isolators so if a mechanic or auto electrician can isolate the starter motor and still work on electrical faults without worrying about someone starting the engine if your working in the engine bay or underneath the vehicle, I have them on my semi and pickup truck to save the batteries 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
