Broken 3rd row stow away in Chrysler Pacifica

Yet another thing to break on the now 9 month old 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. May 28, 2018.

take a look the connector underneath the 40% seat. It seems the 40% seat lost communication to the module.

It had to be taken to the dealership for it to be recalibrated. At the time in it was under warranty so not sure what it would cost outside of warranty.

Sorry. Just seeing these comments! We had to take it back for it to be recalibrated. It's happened 2 more times since this. This van. Oy. One headache after another.

Damn, this sucks. Looking at this vehicle right now and was wondering about a manual override. I really like to keep it simple. Salesperson had no idea.

@@GamerKidEdits when it's working we LOVE the van. It drives well and is the most comfortable mini van I've ever been in. But we had this thing in the shop about every month for 18 months for some type of issue. Last June, the most serious thing happened which it stopped dead in the middle of the street at a stop light with me driving. I couldn't get it to start for about 30 seconds. I got it home and called AAA and they told me the battery was fine. So I called the dealership and they told me to bring it in. The van was completely locked up and we had to call a tow truck to tow it to the dealership. They changed both batteries and funny enough had no issues since. So I think that axillary battery was an issue all along.

@@jlfriedhoff Ugh! Sooooo sorry for this! After so many battles with the local dealership and corporate Chrysler, including the van stalling on me in the middle of a busy intersection, they finally replaced all the batteries (something I had asked for FOR MONTHS!) and knock on wood, haven't had issues. Now for the locked stowed seats, I was told this was an easy recalibration, not a battery issue, so while not super cheap (I think they told me a couple hundred bucks), it's no where near $3K!

@@jenniferpastoriza9344 I had to take it to the dealership for them to recalibrate it. It was under warranty so it was a free fix, but if yours isn't under warranty, be prepared to pay a couple hundred bucks, they told me.
