Wish the lore reflected this. I feel like in game they kick ass but also seem to get their asses kicked in the lore. I love Ahriman to bits but I would love to see TSons get a win against anyone honestly ( in current / new lore)

until a 5 man squad of dark angel terminator knights walks up and laughs as the flamers deal 0 damage to them and they fell the whole 10 man squad with single round of combat.

@@alanolex3962 thats weird, I've played about 7 or 8 games vs DA knights and everygame I'll devote my entire army including doombolt against them and maybe put.....2 wounds on a single model? they're just outright ridiculous.

Gz on the win! Remember rerolls of psychic attacks in only applicable in shooting phase, so Magnus cannot reroll CC attacks

Congratulations ont his one, you did well. In experienced hands i would say they are pwoerfull but not all players will be successfull with them. Look for the GSC for example they can be totally broken in the right hands , where the majority would say they are not so strong. I can't play other armies well, than my SM and Votann , so i would say the player sometimes makes an army broken if he knows , what he is doing.

Yer I think the top players can make armies sing. I think Sisters are strong but takes a good player to make them work. Not sure how I managed it 😅

@@SimplyWarhammer i think you are a good player otherwise you couldn't pull off the victories. My friend is playing TS at tournaments and he didn't succeed with them after 5 attempts . he only achieved places in the middle of the player base. Wher as my other friend won his second tournament with chaos knights :)

I always put a lot of effort to learn the rules beforehand so feels 2nd nature (ish)... I'm also someone that plays games in my head when I'm trying to go to sleep lol... Having a channel helps as I'm constantly learning about armies so I'm rarely shocked by a tactic from my opponent 😊

Nice scores there. I haven't faced TSons since the edition dropped. We have 2 players for them locally but they never seem to bring them out to the tabletop.

Seems when you do a lot of killing score comes more easily lol ! Really strong army and I think the unusual nature of them plays a part for their win rate. People don't expect that'll happen or understand all the abilities

@@SimplyWarhammer most people don't understand or bother to understand how thousand sons work and get VERY upset when they lose because they put zero effort into understanding how their army functions, I play thousand sons and every time I play someone who knows how Ksons works completely and utterly STOMPS me, its a game of rock paper scissors and 90% of the 40k player base refuses to learn any other army mechanics than their own, so when they keep trying to use paper on scissors and getting upset it doesn't work claiming Ksons are this broken OP faction, I always point them to the people consistently beating us by simply using ROCK.

Haha that is one of the things that gets people generally in the hobby, playing a faction you don't and being caught out my their rules. I guess it's hard to learn everything and in the paywall world of the GW app rules aren't as easy to find. Bit different with TSons as they are index and free so people can check.

Nah last game I played was against Tsons and holy shit was it frustrating. I almost managed to pull it back but he kept nullifying the damage I was doing to magnus and it came down to one wound that my forgefiend didn't manage to get off before I was tabled.

That reroll save or zero damage is heart breaking especially against Magnus ! They certainly aren't unbeatable just very tough !

I tabled a Guard army not long ago. My opponent half way through accused me of cheating and kept saying how Broken Tsons are. I paused on turn 3 “you think there broken? Watch this Doombolt” 😂

Haha maybe ... although being a single target and TSons ability to focus fire may be trouble. Indirect could be good and outrange them or spam leman russes ! 🙈

Thanks very much... tbh the faction made a big difference as I've played RTTs at this venue lots and there's loads of good players and lists. The fact I can play them for the 1st time and win says something... also I must be great 🤣 haha

I didn't just throw him forward and there are defensive abilities you can use also. Double move magnus and he goes a massive distance away from any build up of opponent big hitters against him. He only died in 1 game 😁
