The developers at Steel Balalaika have been hard at work during all of 2022 so far. Their hard work is paying off, and the game is turning out to be a real jewel.
We can't wait to show you more, and we are pleased to announce that soon we will be resuming our developer diaries series.
In the meantime, we have decided to prepare a new gameplay video to showcase the current state of the game.
Last but not least, we are aware that so many of you are wondering when the game is going to be released. We're not quite ready to give you a precise date, yet, but it is going to be in the first half of 2023.
Until then be sure to stay tuned, the developer diaries are going to give you a lot of insight on the game, and we'll be sure to show you something big before the winter holidays.

Love the sound design. Also, really happy with the recent trend in milsim and milsim adjacent games putting combat radio chatter that sounds like the crews are actually in combat. Best of wishes to Steel Balalaika on this project. Day 1 buy for me.

I would like to know if this game will have replay mode with camera editor of some kind. The trailers have amazing cinematics with really cool camera angles. It would be amazing to be able to watch the replay of a mission from the cockpit of an airplane/helicopter or from the perspective of a soldier.

Loving that this goes more in the direction of World in Conflict than just being another Snoregame: Bad Dragon clone. We needed a multiplayer RTT with a pace faster than molasses where you actually get to see the action instead of just staring at unit cards from maximum zoom slowly inching across a map to sit in tree lines for 50 minutes.

If you keep the camera panned at maximum zoom all the time, that's on YOU as YOU choose to do that. I zoom in frequently. But then I'm highly creative, with great aesthetic taste-so I don't want to miss anything.

@@rocketassistedgoat1079 Well apparently the RTS community as a whole lacks taste then because Wargame/WARNO is dead as hell compared even to niche games like Gates of Hell. It's gameplay just isn't fun for 99% of people, who don't want to sit around for 30+ minutes in a 10v10 lobby just to stare at rectangles as some cringy meta unfolds. Every Eugen RTS dies in like 2 months and has a community left over of like 12 europeans.

Десантники выглядят круто. Однако практичность таких вот красивых высадок в реальной войне против серьезного противника - околонулевая. Так что большой вопрос нужно ли такое игре, которая пускай и относительно, но пытается в реалистичное отражение современной войны(насколько я понимаю). Хотя, интересно, планируются ли в игре операции против "третьей стороны". Против условных террористов, которые не имеют серьезных вооружений, а потому и не смогли бы что-либо противопоставить тому же парашютному десанту.

if you watch at the release of the first video about making the game, you would see that this game was the first of this type after steel division 2 that was anounced. regiments might be a cool game, but only single player and ... hmm... dont like the concept. warno came out full of bugs, very strange unit behavior and overpowered stuff. infantry is just dead by first contact is my hardes argument against warno. i wont buy it. here this. finally a fucking new awesome video about the game!!! i am waiting and i am waiting until you have finished and polished it. i will wait and get this game and will game out the hell out of it.!!! plz do your best and good luck that every thing will go well.

Выглядит очень круто. Однако возникает вопрос: а как вообще все это балансить? Основные стороны конфликта РФ и США, но армия РФ серьезно уступает американской. Даже если мы берём самые крутые наработки, которые в теории должны превосходить все американское: такого наберётся немного, и все это в лучшем случае раз в год выкатывается на парад. Крутого современного оружия, которое хотя бы в теории сопоставимо с американским, не так уж много. Это будет "качество против количества"? Или РФ получит все то оружие, которое в реальности ещё в разработке и лучшем случае существует лишь в рамках прототипа?

это очень, очень хороший коммент! он заставил меня даже немного задуматься о событиях последнего года и вспомнить те времена, когда игра должна была стать варгеймом о гипотетическом (!) конфликте НАТО и РФ. но, вот, конфликт уже не такой гипотетический. а если балалайки проволохаются с разработкой еще немного времени, то есть все шансы, что они выпустят игру об уже историческом конфликте ( ха-ха :( довольно грустная шутка). и это хороший коммент, потому что он, я думаю, отражает диссонанс будущих игроков между реальностью и развенчанным теперь мифом о второй армии мира (ни в коем случае не указываю на то, что именно позиция автора изменилась, но скорее моя - безусловно).

@@gunnlaugillugason245, раньше, как я помню, вообще планировалась альтернативная история с выжившим СССР, но от нее отказались. И хорошо, как по мне: СССР и без того достаточно представлен в играх. Но, конечно, представить сохранившийся СССР, который мог бы тягаться с НАТО, как-то проще чем противостояние США и РФ. И дело не в слабой армии: тут как раз можно представить альтернативную РФ, где, допустим, 90-е прошли по другому сценарию. Но все ещё остаётся США с первой армией мира при любых раскладах, с кучей союзников. То есть это все равно неравные соперники. Китай, как мне кажется, куда больше подошёл бы на роль соперника, но уже выбрали США. Впрочем, если у разрабов нет идеи лепить единый лор(как в варно), они пойдут по пути варгейма, где были никак не связанные между собой сценарии, то особо мудрить и не нужно. Тут даже реальную российскую армию можно отразить: такое вот испытание для игрока. Но для мультиплеера, конечно, курганцы, арматы и прочие инвалиды с парадов должны стать основной силой армии. Вроде как, игру обещали уже в первом квартале(или в первой половине) 23 года. Так что очень даже скоро. Шансы отразить именно гипотетический, а не исторический конфликт, как по мне, более чем велики. Диссонанс - это да, но с этим ничего не поделаешь. Главное внутриигровую логику соблюсти. Тоже не самый большой фанат рыбы. А уж любить такую - это себя не уважать.
