This is really interesting! I'm currently trying to get my bachelor's in psychology, in Brazil. In here, the overall discourse is what you mentioned in the end. One of my teachers said that at some point Latin American psychology became a thing on it's own, because of cultural differences. Wonder if that's the reason why
