Don’t know how and now can’t use my usb for all the games I was using.. makes my whole console purchase worthless to me now. A lot of money to spend to have the company not improve but even take away functionality that I bought the machine for. Only seems right for them to at least have left an option for us to keep the console the way we purchased it. That’s all I’m asking. I have emailed and got a very disappointing response like I’m sure many others. I bought three of these for family and now I can’t even n good faith even recommend this cabinet any more. I went from not even having one complaint, too regretting the purchase. I hope someone can help many like my if ATgames refuses.

All You have to do is find a old update and put it to a usb and run it ...i had to do that and im not updating again

@@OnePiecePulls_ I just wish they would have been upfront and let US decide what we want on OUR machines, we opt out and stay with 5.68 and lose future support would have been an option I'd sign up for, at least then I could use the cabinet for the reason I bought it. Now I have to spend extra money to build a work around for what they took away, and it means their hardware will go unused.

As far as I'm seeing for others, it's not automatic...yet. For me, my Internet isn't connected to system and everything's working fine so I don't intend to update unless it's something I really want and most importantly, it doesn't break stuff.

If it helps anyone mine was down for about 4 months, it took a while for me to track down the cause. If you open the back and see where the power comes in from the back, follow it to where it is connected to the back of the panel. With the power plugged in and the power button pressed in (on) try moving it around. Originally I thought my scaler board had gone bad again, but it was the connector the whole time.

GGG have you added a wired controller to your ALU I’ve heard a wired Xbox 360 controller might work for the 8 button games .

I was really looking forward to getting one of these machines. Then this firmware update came out, and boom, this is a huge blow to my decision to get one. I’ll try and hold off getting something similar in hopes this can be corrected or worked out for the gamers that have this machine. But I won’t hold my breathe. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I purchased my ALU before the firmware optional upgrade. My cabinet arrived with the factory Firmware. I didn’t do the update and my One Sauce works as well as my Bit LCD . Been playing all the One Sauce games for a few weeks . Just FYI

Do you have to use a frontend like coinops ? Is there away to just run MAME all on it's own ?

If you use an external device (emu box, PC, etc) and plug into HDMI, then you can use whatever frontend you like. As for the Legends Arcade, I only know of CoinOpsX and One Sauce.

I have an Ultimate Arcade. It turns on, but it only shows commands. How do I reboot it? I am not technical at all, so a See Spot, See Spot Run form would be good.

I've seen mixed things but I wouldn't recommend updating if everything is working fine on your machine.

I hadn't played my arcade in a month and my usbs stopped being read by the machine after i updated it, is this the reason why?

@gogeekgaming yeah my usb indicator comes up when I boot up the machine, and it doesn't stop flashing. I've tried it with a new USB and the addonx just on the byog, but everytime I try to play a game it just doesn't boot.

I use the Legends Link software from my pc to my ALU's often. Really enjoying 2k21 PGA with the trackball. I mainly play steam games but have used GOG, EA and Amazon Games as well. A few other favorites are Gunsuit Guardians, WindJammers 2, TMNT Shredders Revenge.

I really enjoy your videos and have found them helpful. I am considering buying a Legends Ultimate today during the sale, but I am concerned about what firmware it ships with. I just went on their chat and asked. They said it ships with "Factory Firmware". Can I just not update out of the box and run CoinopsX with the factory firmware? If I have to update to 5.7.0 (He said 5.7.1 is still opt-in only), does CoinopsX work with 5.70? I'm seeing mixed answers to this on forums. Thank you in advance for your help. Reply

For 5.70 yes, the only reason coinopsx not working properly is because the change in permission, but it's an easy fix, you just need to uninstall and reinstall coinopsx, and coinopsx should start working again. AddonX and OneSaUCE still broken though. I know it works because I own newer cabinet with 5.70 built in firmware on it. But it worked for me.

I connected my controller through Bluetooth and at least for me, that was the way I knew of making it work on my Nvidia Shield not sure about Raspberry PI.

Hello - I am interested in an Arcade Legends Ultimate machine. I would like to know whether you can connect a PC to the hardware of the Legends Ultimate and control the PC with the hardware of the Legends Ultimate and also play the Windows PC games (e.g. JumpRun) with it? I don't want to stream a game from my PC to the Legends Ultimate ( with the ArcadeNet app!) I would know whether the monitor and the controller board can be connected to a Windows 10 PC and this can then also be used for direct games (as a kind of plug and play) or can be used jointly via additional connections. I don't want a game subscription from AtGames, I don't want to stream anything from the network but rather use the existing hardware (PC and Legends Ultimate) offline, so to speak. thanks for the information Greetings from Germany

Don't quote me but I believe I've seen somebody mention they did a factory reset and were good. IDK how true this is but if you lost your games what else is there to lose?

As far as I know and have seen from others, downgrading doesn't fix issue if you've already updated.

There's so many Retro, Emulation on Amazon so you might need to look at other KZbin channels that talk about this as I only have the Legends Ultimate Arcade.

I thought the One Sauce was only for the 1.0 cabs and not the 1.1 did that changed at any point of time? I got a 1.1 cab, mini, and of few of the gamer minis and gamer pro. Some with original factory firmware and the Alu has 5.61 that I downgraded in the past back n forth when my controller board stopped responding due to the bluetooth blue lights which I fixed myself.

As far as I know and seen from others, rolling back or even reset doesn't fix the issues but I'm not 100% sure for everyone.

Hi I just bought a new Legends Ultimate 1.2. Cab It just has the base firmware on there and says 5.7 is most current update but haven’t updated. My question is if I download the 5.68 to a USB ( the one I want ) for my coinopsx and addonx emulation will this work for avoiding the 5.7 and 5.71. I just want to play my games without issues. Hope there’s a way for me to get the 5.68 to have both these apps run smooth !

From what I've seen from other comments, it doesn't seem like even downgrading would help and AtGames doesn't support providing older versions as well.

I hadn't used my arcade machine in months and I unfortunately upgraded to 5.70. Should've known better. But anyways addonx no longer worked. So I found a video to downgrade to 5.68. I went through the process and downgraded the firmware but addonx still doesn't work. Have to use coinops for now. Going to look into alternatives So lesson learned. I won't be updating again

I fixed mine by factory reset and a reboot. That's it. I now have coinops working again including my bitpixel. Have you factory reset yet?

Great that it works! I didn't upgrade and don't intend to as my system works. I've seen comments of those who've updated, reset or even going back to older versions, and it still didn't fix problems.
