Hiya Folks. This is a project I’ve always wanted to do since Legion; a proper tribute to Varian and his sacrifice, placing the mantle of kingship on his son, Anduin, who embarked on his own quest to find himself and his destiny. One of my all-time favorite quests & voiceovers, and quite honestly, the best cinematics to date. This is also the last decent portrayal of Sylvanas I've ever liked, and its a shame we don't see this personality again after the Broken Shore. Apologies if some if the shots are unsteady, since the NPCs move extremely sporadically throughout the scenario and it gets hard to keep up. Happy Holidays, and A Happy New Year to all. Spend time with your friends, families and loved ones if you can. Take Care for now! **Update: KZbin was giving me issues with the previous video and I had to unfortunately re-edit, render and do a re-upload. Hoping this one works out fine. Sorry about that.

In 8:34 Anduin kneels, staring at his reflection in the sword lying on the ground. The dents in the blade distort his young face, making it look scarred-just like his father, Varian. Unbeknownst to him, he is more like his father than he realizes.

I actually really liked Vol'jin's death and legacy. Not everyone is meant for true immortality. Vol'jin had no great feats and his time as war chief was relatively uneventful, minus the Legion's invasion right at the end of it, but he held the Horde together when the previous warchief almost tore it apart and he kept the Horde's honor intact. He was a good, solid warchief from start to finish.

Vol’jin was just tired of life at this point and wanted to be done with all this Warchief business.

"Your father's actions were indeed heroic. They were his challenge to us, his people. To never let fear prevail, even at the very gates of Hell." Words that persist even today. Legion truly was a gem. And “in the light, we are one”. There was no horde or alliance that day. Just two forces facing immeasurable odds. With countless losses, among many Varian and Voljin, High King and Warchief.

Genn mourned his son so hard he forgot he had a daughter but Anduin, only 18, mourns his dad that he just lost a week ago and he gets all angry. Like... honey. You're doing the lords work, as always! It's so nice to find lore videos that show the quests that come along with it - it's so hard to find the in game lore related events otherwise.

Yep, that’s a good point. I feel Blizzard wanted the Genn-Anduin father son relationship, especially after he lost Liam to Sylvanas. And thank you, appreciate it! Makes the work worthwhile :)

Looking back at legion after all these years, it was such a masterpiece and truly enjoyed every moment of it from the raids, pvp and cinematic storytelling. Met some of the greatest people during this time period as legion was the expansion that made many of them return. Fantastic memories!

I wish something like this for Sylvanas if her Story is told to an end. Right now she doesn't seem like a Hero of Azeroth like Varian, but she had great impact on the Story for sure.

Honestly, the depiction of Sylvanas at the Broken Shore is the only one I've ever liked in WoW. I especially love her conversations with Varian. I wish they kept her more along those lines than what she became again later. Maybe a twist in Shadowlands for her morally grayness?
@TrafalgarWaterDLaw-dl5cm5 жыл бұрын
That's mostly due to the fact that Sylvanas is no hero but a villan. :)

Maybe the alliance would of understood if he knew what happened to the hordes war chief ;-; fucking RIP both lords for the factions.

It wasn't sylvanas fault for leaving the alliance to fight the legion alone, she simply wanted to save the warchief and did what he requested, to not let the horde die...
