That was AWESOME! Growing up in with a single mother and no father figure until I became 7 was difficult. I watched my mother and her live in boyfriend of 10 yrs try to create a family. Once he got saved he wanted to marry my mother and she wasn't doing it. It was crushing for me because I called him Dad. Something I deeply desired as a child because I didn't know my own father. From that experience I vowed not to take myself through that very issue. But I failed, I had three children out of wedlock from three different men. It wasn't until I got saved and was under a pastor who taught us the very thing you spoke about my thinking and my mindset changed. Now I am married and I waited for God to place that man who came from a home with both parents who were married and saved. My mistakes I talk to my children about and I teach them the ways of God so that they won't repeat mine. The brokenness and the broken systems stop with me. There is so much more that went on in my life but I would have to put it in a book. God has blessed my life ,my marriage, my children and he gets all of the Glory! This was right on point! Whoo No secrets!

Lynette Lowman great testimony and I really want my two girls(out of marriage) to see me with a man of God and eventually happy marriage,but it seems almost impossible these days because these men aren't use to boundaries and they definitely not trying to wait for a woman who was once sexually active so I go back and forth in my mind with what I want vs what seems to be my reality at the moment

Taylor Mariee , I refused to budge because I knew God would send a man who wouldn't try to interfer with me abstaining. If he doesn't respect you then he's not sent by God. I know and understand your conflict but don't say away from the blessing that God has in store for you. Continue to be obedient to the Lord and all he has told you. Remember his promises and never forget your children are watching you too. I will pray for you and I know for sure that God is faithful.

Woooooooo!! This was my story I grew up fatherless and as result I picked the same kind of men over and over. My kids father was half there or not at all. I raised two boys frustrated and broken. Jouneled about it for years. God finally saved me reprogrammed me and my thinking. God gave me purpose and has anointed me to break that family curse that has been around for awhile and I just wrote my 1st christian novel about this..#DELIVERANCE!! 18 and I’m breaking my family systems , almost everyone in my family has only been in broken relationships, I haven’t heard not one person tell me to wait til marriage to have sex . Everything I was taught / seen I knew in my heart was wrong now everyone is labeling me different because I refuse to do the things they do ! Now this right here is all me and my family. God has been revealing this and using my Pastor to repair this missing part. He's been the first man that I have allowed to guide me and instruct me. I realized not too long ago that I always had an issue with authority I never had it, instead I had to be strong and look out for myself but all I wanted was to be loved. Luckily God protected me and set me apart in my youth. Just last week I sensed God tell me that I would have a marriage that would defy my circumstances. I would have a Godly marriage where unlike what I had seen in growing up a testament of God's goodness and faithfulness 💜 I have hard work ahead but this video has confirmed God's plans for me and his knowledge of me!

Can we talk about when a parent, whether it's the mother or the father, sows bad seeds or gives their kids misguided advice or misguided direction or a poisonous and toxic mindset? I'm asking this because I'm a divorced mom with 2 sons who have always lived with me yet throughout their lives their father has always been present on a continual basis and has been able to see them daily if he wanted to because that flexibility was there....regardless of us being together and not. However, we did not see eye to eye on a lot of things, one of those things for example being the importance of raising kids with Christian values and going to church and not being exposed to all sorts of nonsense. So me as mom would be telling them 1 thing and trying to raise them 1 way and then their male role model being dad would do some of the opposit or present to them that what I was telling them was just me being "mom" but certain things were OK for them to do and they didn't have to give weight to a lot of what I would say. So my question is can you address that sometimes 1 parent, mother of father, even though they're truly present in the children's lives, can still be damaging.... Can you talk about this?
