Reminder folks: this game was only ⅓ of the way done. Basically a fancy demo. I wish we could convince Tecno Soft members to revisit this. Maybe actually release it as the Dreamcast VI. It has potential. I've played it. The stages seem good, just need some polish and animation, as well as boss animation.

You'd have to talk to Sega now. They hold the IP. Given they've ported Thunder Force 4 (Lightening Force) and Thunder Force 3 (AC) to the Switch, it may just come down to interest shown in the franchise.

That's easy to do really. You could just use a copy of the original game then replace the CD music tracks. I've dont this with a few Saturn games.

It is. It's very disappointing. But still i must say i love this game, because it's the one Game, that not only has shown me the existence of Thunder Force but also of all the Bullethell shooters. So i love this game, because it gives me some good memories ^^

Well to be fair, Thunder force VI was rubbish. I have it. Its like they just took parts from other Thunder Force games and stuck them in to a new game without understanding what makes a good Thunder Force title.

@@RetroCore That's exactly what they did. I watched videos of the game thinking it was just remastered stages from previous games. I mean it looked good but it could've been much better. Also, you could tell plain as day someone from Darius/Taito handled the music. It was way to subtle and didn't punch hard enough for a Thunderforce game.

Have you played Thunder Force 6 on the PS2? It's heartbreaking at just how awful it is. The game has no soul at all.

Sega made it too easy. You start the game with all your weapons, and CRAW. The levels, while nice to look at, were way too short, and the bosses were easy. Even going up against ORN Styx, ORN Rynex, and ORN Gauntlet was a let down. Sega forgot the Fire LEO-3, Fire LEO-4, and RVR-01 were badasses.
