Hi I have one jacket and one coat where the bottom pin is still intact but the material one tooth above it (or the material underneath it) has worn/freyed is there any way to bolster or reinforce the areas with thread or a fancy stitch? Or perhaps a reinforcement strip of fabric?

What if you don’t have the bottom pin?

or there are shorts telling you how to fabricate one, using a straw, or styrofoam and a bit of fabric, and superglue. If the fabric is torn, replacing the pin won't help.

How did you get the zipper back to the bottom that was apart? THAT isn’t shown and it’s the most important part!!!!
