Pros VS Cons… SPOT ON

I still have my 5.0 in the garage, and we've had good results with my daughters Bronco!

@@Billwithjourneybeyondoverland yeah, I wish Ford gave us a 5.0 option!

Almost a year, 2.7 Badlands High/lux package, around 7500 miles: -Agree with the noise, something you gotta get used to. Interior looks good but kinda chinsy, it creaks/cracks sometimes over bumps or due to thermal expansion -love the modularity & ability to fit bit tires, price over feature was better than any of the competition. -Notice that the 10R80 auto transmission shifts pretty hard in gears 1-3, like almost like its too slow or it can't decide, at least for the first 6000 miles. Seems to have mellowed out though after 7000 miles, just something to note. Its not as smooth as my 4Runner. -Don't expect a perfect vehicle, this is not a Land Cruiser made in Japan with top tier assemblers. I've already warranteed my hard top twice, seems to be fixed now. Might experience fitment issues of roof, windows, panels, etc. Just have to warranty as you go if these really annoy you. -First mods should definitely be Expel Clear Bra PPF all around and front Rokblokz front mud flaps, I learned this the hard way. -If I were to do my selection process over again I'd still get the Bronco over the competition, probably same trim/options maybe with a sasquatch package too for more aggressive gearing.

Looking forward to the 2 year review of the AC hardtop. I've been reading about some people having quality issues with theirs and not sure if it's a widespread issue or just a vocal minority.

@@ryanp9808 I’ve not heard of any issues from the others I know with it, so I don’t think it’s wide spread. The latches and glass is the same as factory from Ford. No leaking or anything like that with mine. I’ll do the video in April, but feel free to DM me on IG if you want more details.

I must be the only one that doesn’t get noise from the stock hardtop. Maybe the climate effects the seals different in relation to where you live on the globe.

@@C_Wood not sure, but but I’ve driven from East TN, to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, to the 14k peaks in Ouray, and to Phoenix and it sounds the same to me. Maybe you got lucky with a really good one, lol. I’ve never had a stock hardtop, so I can’t speak to it.

Did you get rid of the Rock Slide Engineering slider steps? I just ordered a set. Wondering what your issue was and why you moved on from them so fast. Thanks!

I did a while back. Wanted to go with frame mounted instead for the rubicon (although not required)
