Bronco Tailgate Table Install

The install should start with the table frame assembly. I received a piece of the table that is defective and I'm working through with JCR to get it replaced. Had I followed the sequence in this video, I would have been stuck with a disassembled tail gate. Also, recommend installing the latches after the door is in place. Moving the assembly on the table scratched the hell out of it without need. Just get the table opening and closing right, then install the latches.

those rubber bumpers were so hard! lube did help in the end.

helpful tip for people doing the final mounting to the door: dry fit first before adding the loctite, I had to take it off 2x to 're-adjust' the mounting strips because the holes weren't lining up.

Awesome product! Took me some time as I was particularly careful not wanting to break anything. In the end it turned out terrific. Didn’t have any loctite so I’ll be backing out the ones attaching to the tailgate just to be sure…once I get some loctite 😁

installed pretty easy, did not completely remove tire carrier just unbolted and hung it off tailgate by brake light worked fine. like the end result though straps were a bit tighter than expected even at closest setting

Install was a serious pain in the ass but it seems pretty solid. Tailgate makes a metallic clunk when I close it now even though my install is snug. When I don’t close the table to its end point and then shut the tailgate, there is no noise. Really hoping it doesn’t rattle down the road. The pain of this install was partially due to the lack of detail in this video. Show us the bolts and close ups of each install section. The removal of the vents with a pry tool was unnecessary. There are literally push tabs on it that say “push”. Wish I figured that out before breaking two clips on the top vent by trying to imitate this video. I think I’ll be fine with one vent clip but sheeesh! Nevertheless, enjoying it so far.

Man that table top was a B. I had to use a rubber mallet. Love it though!

The top table part is basically impossible to install. The tabs at the back do not fit into the slots at all @jcrOffroad . Aren't they supposed to slip in there a little bit? What am I supposed to do? I like the look of this table but it is a huge pain in the ass to install. As of now I cannot get the table top to install. I called many times today and no one ever answers.

@@JcrOffroad My table tabs were too thick with power coat to fit into the slots. Thankfully, I tested them before installing. I simply took my metal grinder to each side of the tabs and ground just enough powder coat to fit perfectly into the slots. The slots should actually be just a little taller to fit the tabs into.

after assembling the table it doesn't fold all the way up, seems like it is hitting the 2nd from bottom bolt heads. After a few attempts and some pressure it finally closed, another tight interference fit?

I just had the exact same issue. The only way I could get the bolt to fit into the cutout on the table edge was to remove the washer of the bolt. Without the washer it seems to have just enough clearance to close tightly.

cool just broke the little tab off, what are these connectors called? the reddish brown ones? prob just secure it with some electrical tape to keep it from wiggling loose yeah? or are they easy to come by to replace the clippy end?

I also had a very difficult time disconnecting the wires. The directions in the video should show a blow-up of these connectors so that everyone knows how they disconnect.

Will this fit a bronco sport?

It does not. Bronco sport has a hatch that opens up, not swinging out. We do offer a hatch molle panel for the bronco sport.

The fitment of the table is just bad. I don't think you took into account all the tolerance stackup and the variability of the thickness of the powdercoat. My table is line to line on the front edge with the molle panel when I line up the slots. I don't think I'm going to be able to bend this that much.
