This game is like the definition of Tony Romo's career. Did everything to keep Dallas in, and one mistake was all it took.

No one threw a nicer ball. But this defines him Perfectly. Just like the Seattle playoff game where he muffed the easy snap on the field goal. Also At the end of the first half Williams caught the ball and could have gotten out of bounds easily. They ended up with a field goal but he ruined their chances to put 6 on the board. Not the first time he had done that.

This was the game that officially made me like Tony Romo. Not just the effort, but the media's reaction. Tony just played his BUTT off, going toe-to-toe with arguably the most potent NFL offense of all time with some of the best throws of his career, and with the Cowboys at 2-2 desperately wanting the win..... and the media kept saying "HAHA THAT INTERCEPTION THOUGH LMAO" I was indifferent about him until that game. But that performance was amazing. Both offenses deserve all the love.

@@launchz101 *21, You must have forgot about the pick 6 (then again it wasnt the main highlight of the superbowl + it was forgotten about after the comeback). Couches lost us the game with stupid play calls. Side note: I still havent watched that game sense then (and not planning on watching it until the falcons win there first superbowl) so this is mostly off of my memory of the time i watched it more then 3 years ago, so i might be wrong, but i do remember the time after julios great catch when we were in field goal range with (i think) 4 mins left with the score 28-20 and the couch called a passing play instead of running down the clock and matt ryan was sacked. If we kicked the field goal with most likely 2 mins left after running down the clock, it would have been 31-20 making it impossible for even tom brady to comeback from. That alone made me blame the couches.

Nico Patrick true. However, it can’t be denied that Romo typically threw interceptions during the most crucial moments of the game. @@mrpowers4667 - That's an illusion. However, he did have to throw far too much on teams that had him in a pts race all the time. As he aged, he got better and better. He matured as he began patterning himself after Brady. There were far fewer INT's in crucial moments than you think. The guy was elite and knew the game like the back of his hand. my top games are this one, the PIT game with Zeke, the NOR game of 2018 season where our defense played lights out, the 2011 or 2010 game against NOR where Ware played with a bad neck but made a crucial sack in 4th to seal our W. The loss I regret missing is when we came back on NYG when Dez hand went out of bounds instead of his butt hitting first. My most hurtful game was the no catch catch playoff game against GB. That one still brings emotions out of me. Not saying we would have won because our defense couldnt stop a one legged rodgers, but it would have went to the wire of who has ball last

God I miss these two QBs. Both were top 5 in the league and probably the most fun QBs to watch in their time. Both were also very underappreciated. Peyton was always in Brady's shadow and was mocked for choking in the playoffs, and Tony was never given the credit he deserved for making a bad Cowboys team relevant every year.

One of the best games I’ve ever watched, being a cowboys fan, they lost but it was a pleasure to witness that much quality in a football game, at least one of the 100 best games in history.

Watching this brings back so many memories, and this one game is also so indicative of both team’s issues throughout the entire 2013 season. Eric Decker is frustratingly hit-or-miss, the defense is mostly atrocious, and would ultimately be the Achilles heel for what was a VERY stout Denver offense. Oh, and good call on getting rid of Matt Prater-one of the most clutch kickers in the NFL-for smoking weed. You know, marijuana: that “performance enhancing drug.” It’s kind of amazing that Denver had the record they had and made it to the super bowl with such a one-sided team. The offense was just that good that year.
