I absolutely loved the tour of your beautiful new home Bronnie. The views are stunning and the inside of both you home and office so inviting. Thank you for sharing all the bits that were your learning curves, I’m sure it will help other tiny home builders out there. I can’t wait to watch the next video ❤

I would have taken the kitchen without this breakfasttable over the whole wall and would buy a small round table with 2 chairs in front of the door, where you want to have a cupboard.

Thanks. Yes, a few options but we’ve since ordered matching drawers and another cupboard for near the door so it will work well soon!

Hi Bronnie. I just discovered your channel. You could put a cupboard with drawers under the “breakfast bar” and just use a small table for sitting at to eat. Or you could add some cupboards with drawers where you thought there would be some and use a wide bench top (from Bunnings) to create your breakfast bar. I’m guessing your local Bunnings is a long drive away though! I’m looking forward to seeing the evolution of your beautiful home. I hadn’t seen hempcrete used in this way before. It’s quite exciting to see people adapting the way it is used to make it more adaptable.

Thanks but I didn’t want a table and chairs blocking the thoroughfare. Episode 32 shows our solution. 😊

Just as advice for others looking to build. Most builders will make the windows tops to be online with door frames in the room. So it’s a cosmetic thing. When we were going to build being short. 5foot and 1/4 inch I asked to have windows larger then normal. This way I had windows that sat in line with the top of the door frames however also gave me the best view at my height. Something else most builders do is put wood fires central in rooms. I also stopped this when we were going to build as it means all the heat goes straight towards the glass and you loose most of that heat. However I feel this for a such a lovely home and office. I really hope that you both enjoy it so very much. I also can’t wait to watch you slowly bring it to your minds dreams xx ❤❤

I appreciate your comment. That makes sense re the windows. And hopefully with double glazed doors and thick curtains (eventually), we can keep the heat, but it’s a good point if I ever go through it again! 🙏🏻💛

Enjoyed viewing your new dwellings. Love hempcrete. May I ask whom built them for you? Anaiwan country is beautiful. Have land there also. Closest shop is Bonshaw. 😀

Thank you. That’s a big sky up there! And yes, hempcrete is beautiful. It was built by resoluteconstructionsolutions.com.au/.
