Many players at that point are stashed away elsewhere and we almost never get to see them play. If he got picked first round, I get it. But, the pool of players that emerge from that portion of the draft as stars is not large. And if the team feels more comfortable with a player they know vs. one they don't, it is really not a big deal. I get that you are saying but this happens all the time and getting ruffled over someone risking the 6th to last pick on the son of the best player of all time, worth the risk.

Yeah I think most of us don't know Bronny at all besides being LeBrons son, and the kid might feel like the rest of us do, but just either don't want to let his dad down, or his dad is making him. I think we will find out pretty quickly this season, whether or not Bronny is a decent kid or if this is all LeBron doing.

Let’s just be clear, Thanasis would not still be on the Bucks or in the league if his brother had not taken off, which is still nepotism. Bronny is not trying to be his dad, he knows if he makes it, it will be for his defense and he impressed at the combine. There are many guys like that in the league, but his size is definitely an issue.
