Bronny James is similar a lot of American basketball players in that he may have athleticism on his side but he sorely lacks fundamentals, skill, and techniques. Unlike other American basketball players, he lacks a lot of the physical traits that offset those other weaknesses like reach, height, and build. Worse of all he lacks energy. It seems like he's coasting during games. If someone is not actively directing him to move or do something he'll just slink in the background. He needs to actively defend more, with energy. He needs to cut more to the basket in order to seem like a threat, and he needs to pay attention during games.
