I’m curious about your background in makeup. How did you learn to apply makeup so flawlessly?

Let me start by saying... thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and to ask about my makeup background. I have worn/played with makeup since I was a kid. It's one of my true passions that brings me so much joy and happiness. I have practiced many looks on myself but I've also had hands on experience with makeup application on other people. I worked for Ulta years ago. I started off as a cashier and worked my way up to the prestige side of the store where I'd sell and apply makeup to salon clients (for events or just because) and store customers. Having done that allowed me to continue practicing and perfecting the art of makeup. From that position, I moved to store manager at the same Ulta store and did that for a few years. I think working for Ulta just intensified my love for makeup and it helped better my skills. Practicing daily helps a great deal and with time, skills do improve. I am by no means I makeup artist. I wish I would've pursued that when I was younger before having kids. Maybe in another lifetime :) I know this was long...sorry! I tried to keep it short. Thanks again for asking. Take care Ginny.
