Yea, the green screen is definitely the way to go! I also just realized the draft number didn't match the title, but the title is correct.

44:10 yeah, it happens. ive made that mistake more than once 49:05 "i think you should have edicted there" thats would not have been a bad play but there are two much better plays. 1. -4 on lili just wipe the board and draw two (after attacking). basically same thing but you get to keep a board wipe in hand and have lili on board. or 2. just plus 1 lili and dont attack with anything. by only leaving two blockers left, you could have lost the game on the spot if he top decked a removal spell, or a haste creature. that was a needlessly risky play. also you might have wanted to pop off the edict a few turn ago as being below 5 life makes to dead to any burst lighting top decks. 50:08 nope. ruby and the berserker both trigger on attacks, so ruby would miss the trigger as there would be no power 4 creature when declaring attacks with the ruby. they still have lethal though, as they could just make ruby a 2/2 menace. 2 lethal attackers, one with menace and only 2 blockers. 51:35 thats rough. though modern energy should still survive. Guide of Souls and Galvanic Discharge are still legal and are very strong key cards to the deck. im not a big constructed guy but pro player Jim davis is and he said the modern energy deck will still be ok. so you should be alright. i dont know if it will still be the cream of the crop, best deck in the format, but its probably not dead 59:45 yeah, the range can vary. the matchmaker cares more about the win rate of your deck and the win rate of your opponents deck than it does about individual rank and MMR another trophy very nice. deck was just too powerful, also having a ton of 1 and 2 mana spells really helped saved this deck. the 1 2 punch of rat/sage into eaten alive really helped keep you alive to the late game so the wonky curve didnt matter very much. you did lose one game due to the high curve though. UB is not the best performing color pair this set but its not the worst either. but yeah it can be done. i trophied with UB in duskmourne which was the worst color pair in that set so yeah. also color balance or lack there of this set is very overblown too. most color balanced set in quite some time

I am hoping my Modern Energy decks live. I might switch back over to Mardu Energy for the better removal and greater access to graveyard hate which I think is going to pop up more. As for the game insight thank you so much for sharing! This is all great stuff to think about to improve my game.

11:35 important to remember its only 1 drop instant and sorceries but still the pick with stab and eaten alive. 4mana make a 3/3 and draw a removal spell is super good. 16:50 good cut but not cuz you have too many 1 mana spells, you cant really have too many. if you had like 6 stabs and 4 eaten alives id probably try to run all of them, 1mana draw is just not very good. its ok but very cuttable with the amount of power you have in the deck. if you had card draw payoffs, they would be worth running no matter how many one mana spells you have also FYI "x drop" typically means a spell like a creature that you "drop" at the turn you get a certain land count, not a catch all term for all spells at a certain cmc value 19:0 Michael is a bit off here. 1, the deck does have mana sinks, the sailor and the lookout. but also, you have a big card draw spell in the deck so you wouldn't need the mana sinks anyway. and with all these 4 plus mana spells you need 17lands for sure 20:36 alright, deck is very strong, id see a good 5 wins with this deck again i think you need to prioritize cheaper spells in draft a little more. taking the best card in the pack is good, but you have to think about your mana curve while your drafting too. deck is once again a little clunky with a ton of 4 mana spells and up. thats gonna keep it from going all the way to 7 wins. (EDIT: i was wrong.) also, you could get away with 16lands due to the hand smother but i wouldn't recommend it with this high mana curve

Great insight and it did feel clunky but I think some solid play and great removal kept me in this one!
