As someone who was a chunky kid and is a chunky girl right now- I’ve struggled with exercising and my weight my whole life! I started working out seriously in college and was in the best shape of my life and lost so much weight, but then gained it all back after getting married :( the best thing that’s helped me is starting small- start with really long walks a couple times a week. From there i started swimming, then lifting. The reward of exercising and feeling good will motivate you to try harder things I also started thanking God for a body that COULD exercise. Not everyone gets that luxury and once I was able to understand how blessed I am to have a body that works and could work out, that helped me to view exercising and taking care of my body as a gift and not torture! Lol

I'm so much like you in the over thinking! Different businesses, but I started a cleaning business about a year ago as a side hustle. I'm now in a position where if I spend a little more time advertising my business I know I could quit my full time job. You chose something you love to do (brows) and you'll do great because of that! I can relate so much to the feeling down about how you feel about your body, I always half committed to the gym i would start then go really hard for 3 months then loose all motivation, until about a year ago I changed my mindset and began to slowly think about the gym and eating healthy differently, the gym became my medicine for all my aliments and it slowly bled over to my diet and the way I viewed food , I eat consciously I try to fuel my body with good foods to keep it healthy and strong and I still endulge whenever I want too. What changed for me was looking at it long term and not as a short term goal, it became my lifetime commitment to give back to my body. I hoped that helped !

I know the feeling of being self conscious about my body. My youngest son is now 14 months, but man has my pp journey been rough. I want to exercise and lose some weight, but I'm still kinda fighting ppd and my son still wakes up ALOT. Shit sucks.

I make a pit and thigh tallow balm. It will naturally lighten the underarm because it's nourishing. Tallow is the closest thing to our skin we can use. It's all natural. I add baking soda and arrow root to take out the oiliness. The baking soda will lighten the underarm. Ingrown hairs no longer an issue either. Can also be used on the bikini area after shaving. I use this stuff daily and won't ever go back. The kind of deodorant you use and the foods you eat are going to hugely impact your skin. It's our biggest organ. Rule of thumb in the natural world is if you can't eat don't put it on you. I try to keep it to this as best I can I'm just not ready to give up all the make-up! Makeup is art to me. I pray one day to own a tallow makeup company and make natural products that nourish and feed out skin. Praying about your business endeavors as well mama. It is hard. It's a lot of stress but totally worth it. My suggestion is to work for yourself whatever that looks like. It leaves far more freedom!

Big Hugs and prayers for strength and success for your new endeavors. I hope things have become a bit less stressful for hot since this video. I started mystery beauty bundles. It was just a way for me to give back. I'm a single mom who raised 7 boys on a secretary's salary. There's were so ssssso many times when ppl helped me without knowing how much their kindness helped my family out. Their generousity helped us to a new day! So now, with these mystery beauty boxes, I'm able to give back. This started out as a hobby. It has turned into a steady hustle. Stay motivated and start slow. It will go well. Advise for fitness, walk! Invest in a treadmill and walk an hour a day. I started my journey this way. I went from 329lbs to 210lbs within a year, i incorporated toning with my body weight, and it really elevated my mood. It wasn't about the look, it was because of my diabetes. So much had changed, started out slow... and it became a lifestyle. Nothing crazy. 🎉

A couple of months ago I changed my diet drastically and started counting my calories. However, I will make every excuse in the world to not workout. So I lost 10lbs and that was it….i got so discouraged. I wanted to feel confident in my own skin this summer. But I just look at all my imperfections and I literally just want to hibernate all summer and come back out in the fall when I can wear my sweats and hoodies again. 😒 so it’s crazy to hear someone with a nice, petite frame express she has insecurities too. We are all our own worst critics I guess.

Girl, start slow. Workout once or twice a week. It’s almost impossible to do 5 days a week at the beginning. Then just start adding more days and it can be short 15-30 minute workouts.
