Best makeup & best dress - over 65- Are you faced with going to a formal function and wondering where do I turn? Well that happened to me for my son's wedding. I felt overwhelmed and I share you with my favorites that made me feel my most comfortable and confident. I don't have any pictures of the beautiful bride and groom ( they will arrive next week) but I did share with you some of my special moments that I will forever cherish.

You looked so beautiful and I loved how much your face showed how excited and happy you were . I was so excited to see this video and all the love and Joy. Today I had an amazing thing happen. I became a great grandmother of an amazing baby girl. Stella was born a couple weeks early due to some complications with my granddaughter . They both are fine . I was so excited and over joyed I could not stop crying. My granddaughter had lost twins four years ago. After 39 hours of labor and a C-section. God blessed us with this precious gift.

Susan you looked so beautiful!!! How sweet it is to see the joy in your face. My oldest son got married the very same day for the first time at 42. He and his girlfriend had been together for 9 years. It was a surprise wedding on a 65 foot 100 year old sail boat. It was so wonderful!! It was just the 4 parents and the crew. God gave us the most perfect weather the entire time. Best day ever! Then the other fun part was all 6 of us went on a ferry to another town and celebrated for a few more days. Thank you for sharing your son’s wedding. What a beautiful event for you and your family! Your dress looked fantastic. Almost every time I watch your videos, you say something that makes me think, and often results in a realization. I like what you said about how you have to take care of love, and how a relationship should love you back. I am 69 years old, and was raised in an environment where we were always expected to put the needs of others before our own. In addition to that, men were in charge and we were expected to defer. That resulted in my approach to relationships as being one of complete service. My husband died at an early age, leaving me to finish raising our two children, making sure they finished high school and college. I was 47 when he died, having met him at the age of 15, and it was years later when I attempted some dating and realized how my natural instincts for relationships is to abandon myself. I gave up on dating because I no longer wanted to give myself away in service to another, even to people who did not deserve it. Dating in my 50’s was actually scary because I was so unprepared, and I made a lot of mistakes. I have not yet figured out how to deprogram my natural instincts, drilled into my psyche from the time of being a baby and child. Standing up for my own needs can even make me feel guilty for doing so! Perhaps this is the lesson I am supposed to learn in this life-deserving to be loved back. 🌹

Oh, Little Poet, maybe now after the .make-up artist you will believe us when we tell you how beautiful you are! I have used RCMA loose face powder & I love it! It comes in a big bottle. One has lasted me a couple of years. Just tap a small amount of powder into the cap, lightly place the brush in, tap gently & apply to face as needed. You don't need much. It's not expensive. All four of my sons are married now. My youngest married last October, almost a year already. I understand what you said about the emotions. As a parent, we want our children healthy, happy and when we watch them marry the person he will spend the rest of life with. So much prayers go into being a mother.
