Your LA apartment was so cute, so I'm sure whatever you do here will be gorge, but if it was me I would make that second bedroom into a snug with a pullout couch and keep the space next to the kitchen the more formal entertaining space. I love having a cozy area to watch TV, and if you painted it something moody it would be such a vibe. ❤
