I notice in new york there’s people holding up the left lane not passing anybody, why is that? In europe you get a fine for holding up the passing lane while not passing anyone

There's similar laws in the States as well. How often do people actually get hit with those tickets or how severe they are, most likely not enough.

I saw it yesterday that there were some speculation that they are going to replace the existing BQE with a 3-mile tunnel like the Big Dig and Seattle tunnel that replaced the Alaskan Way Viaduct. The hearing is going to effect later on. Don’t get your fingers crossed. This part at 6:09 is unsafe, but it needs a new update. This highway has been there since the 1940’s where Robert Moses once build. If they do, maybe Robert Moses might roll out of his grave.
