Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21 Review

The Brooks Adrenaline has been around for over 20 years now and this version of the shoe is DIALED IN! The Adrenaline is a moderate cushion stability shoe with the signature brooks guide rail system. given that the Adrenaline GTS 21 now has DNA Loft foam extended to the forefoot, would you say that this upgrade has bridged the cushioning gap between the Adrenaline GTS 21 itself and the Transcend 7?

The transcend is still quite a bit higher cushion than the adrenaline but I think the extended DNA has certainly "smoothed out" the transition from midfoot to toe-off! Great question!

@@runningwildpensacola3437 thanks for the input. I started running on the Hoka Arahi. As a forefoot striker, I loved the plush cushioning but I didn't like that my calves are doing so much work to push me forward. Just wanted to know if the new Adrenaline GTS would provide the structured support that would lessen the work on my calves without being "jarring" on my knees.

@@SiklistangBano Yes the Adrenaline and Arahi actually have a relatively similar type of stability mechanism. The Hoka lineup definitely has that signature "cloud-like" plush foam where the Brooks Adrenaline is slightly more dense and more "Traditional" feeling. Both great stability options though!

Absolutely Alfonso! The Adrenaline is a great option for pronators and it does a really nice job of accommodating a pretty wide variety of foot types because of the slight elasticity in the upper materials. Thanks for the comment and happy running!
