Gotta say that Dot watch with Braille is a genius idea and very respectful for those not with blindness. The rest of the watches may be quirky and in a way cool, the Dot wins for catering to those for whom normal watches are useless. Also for sheer coolness the Nixie clock / watch never gets old ,mega cool in a retro way!!! Edit: that Devon with belts inside is also extremely cool 😎

Received my first Mr Jones watch (Number Cruncher) this week! What a lot of fun to have your wrist. Plus it’s a fully automatic mechanical movement.

I just learned about Mr. Jones watches 2 days ago, and I'm already addicted. Some of these watches are not just time peices they're works of art.

yeah you were right saying that watches nowadays are getting too identical and boring...however, those that are original in design can either be very expensive, suspiciously cheap or rediculously designed 😅

I love these videos. A great idea for watches that are hard to tell the time with. As a project manager time is always on my mind, things that needed doing and deadlines to meet the clock was always ticking. How to unwind? Well I got one of those Slow watches for weekends and evenings, the single handed watch that did a full sweep of the dial every 24 hours. I could tell the time within a few minutes or so and it was a great unwinding experience. I love that idea. I remember being stopped by someone once who asked me where I got the wrist depth gauge, if I recall I just replied "its just gone a quarter past three and a bit". I got an odd look and the person waddled off. I've no idea if they are still going but as an it's roughly this time it's a great wind down watch. I love em.

It would be fun to explain to people how the ducks "work" to tell you the time. You'd have to be creative, with new explanations depending on what time it actually was.

I've long been a fan of the channel, and I have to say that it's enjoyable getting to see faces at long last; however, given all the care that went into the immaculately manicured 'talking hands' productions combined with stunning macro footage and legendary commentary, it is frankly jarring to try to marry up in my mind the open collars and exposed T-shirts and and the occasional just-rolled-out-of-bed look with what always seemed before to regularly strive to achieve an understated elegance. Wouldn't take much to make a bit more of an effort, guys! My two cents!
