In my opinion Ann Hallenberg is the mezzo-soprano with absolutely the best and most solid technique. It's honestly impeccable. I wish one day I would have a tenth of her skill and I would die happy.

Les Talens lyriques sont un merveilleux orchestre. Ici, Ann Hallenberg, est comme un grand voilier porté par les vents impétueux sous la baguette du Capitaine C. Rousset. L'équipage tient la barre et sait mener la nef à bon port. C'est parfait !

but even if this wasn't a rehearsal, Hallenberg has a sweet and sexy kind of approach to Baroque, unlike Bartoli and Lezhneva, who go for the jugular.
