Brosella Festival 2022 - Rewind #3/18 Marc Perrenoud trio

Swiss pianist Marc Perrenoud has been headed his own trio for almost 15 years. The line-up has remained unchanged and his album Morphée released in 2020 is already his fifth. Perrenoud studied at the Geneva Conservatory and now teaches there himself. He is also part of the group Aksham along with the Albanian singer Elina Duni. His musical style is lyrical, virtuoso and fluid, with many influences from classical music. Morpheus, makes you think of Brad Mehldau's album series Art Of the Trio . They match each other perfectly in adventurous compositions and improvisations with a sultry atmosphere.
