2024 Lexus IS 350 F Sport: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive, Walkaround, POV and Review

👋 In todays review we check out the 2024 Lexus IS 350 F Sport! The redesign for this 2024 Lexus model came out in 2021 with a new front fascia and rear bumper as well! I love the curves of the exterior and combined with the red interior and color of the wheels, this is a nice spec! Some chrome is featured on the exterior but in just the right amount with the window trim and some in the mirrors! The interior has a nice gauge cluster with vital information to go through and the layout under the infotainment system is great! Not cluttered with tons of buttons, but laid out well and easy to use. The driving experience is great, comfortable when needed, but also can be sporty with the push of a few buttons! The steering wheel has great feedback and the paddles are very responsive! The interior materials are great with all the leather and trim pieces! Plenty of room for your back seat passengers with the additional trunk storage, so this makes it a very practical daily along with having that sporty performance from the Lexus "F Sport" to give you that added touch in a family sedan!

Love this car. It doesn’t have the performance of its competitors but the real appeal to me is the build quality, reliability, nice performance and the exterior…wow I mean it’s the best looking exterior in this segment. 0-60 in still about 5.6 seconds is just fine to me. I’ve owned many Lexus and Toyotas and having a car you don’t need to worry about for hundreds of thousands of miles is nice.

Sure this generation IS is getting very old, 10 years I believe, but I stil think it looks fantastic, the interior is well appointed and simple, and that 3.5L V6 is a gem of an engine that we will not be seeing after this generation ends. Plus the engine is naturally aspirated, and you don't see a lot of N/A 6-cylinders anymore. Honda/Acura and Toyota/Lexus are really the only manufacturers offering one, but again, those V6 engines are not going to be here a long time. People hate on it for being old, but this is still one of the best Lexus vehicles that are still available, and it'll last you years~ That N/A V6 is a proven engine, and Lexus is one of the top manufacturers in the luxury segment that focus on reliability very heavily, which is why I would always choose Lexus over most European competitors.

Yeah this has a lot going for it. Just hard to not look at the European cars at the same price with turbo 6 cylinder engines that are significantly faster, better performing and have bette tech. This will last 300k miles all day tho and the competitors won't. But the others will still last 100k with no issues. So just depends on how long you plan on keeping the car and what you want it to do

I saw these on the Lexus lot. Amazing vehicles. The only change would be the changing the trackpad to the wireless Charger and to bring in the newer touchscreen from the ES or LC to this. Lexus build quality is great and having physical buttons for climate control is now rare.

The IS500 is the fast one. Cool having an old V8 option. The BMW M340i is $10k more then this but has a very powerful turbo 6. Same with the Audi S4

The sound system infrastructure for this car does not seem to lend itself to easily update: playing music from a thumb drive does not work while using car play, so for that I'm glad they kept the CD player.

i'm very interested in this particular model of the is350 sport sedan, however i noticed lexus has copied off from the benz sedan model of the cup holders how it automatically comes out once you push on it i remember seeing that in an earlier model benz about 2005-2007?? Also i like the rear shader, now is there any custom side window shaders i can buy that are custom made to fit this exact model?? for both side passenger windows w the sun shader that you can pull up or down not the ones that automatically slap down themselves.

A 4 banger bmw 330i smokes this car in terms of: performance, low end torque, technology, interior design and less cramped, driving feel, and the b48 with zf8 has not had bmw issues of the past. This Lexus is outdated and is for Toyota shoppers who make more money now

I'm disappointed in the LED entertainment system. It needs the Toyota 14" screen found in the 24 Taco and Tundra. It's hard to go to a small screen esp at $55K+ price point in a Lexus.

Have a 2023RX500H F-sport and a 2024 IS350 F-sport and love both. The rear electric motor on the RX does make it move and loaded with tech. The IS does need interior updates but like buttons and other analog features. If they had an IS500 at the two dealers near me, would of went with that as my daily over the IS350. Son and I are both 6'+ and when bringing my mom places, we use the RX so she has room and the ability to use ventilated and heated rear seats that recline. One mistake was not getting the one with the larger Mark Harmon radio system. Asked the saleswoman if I was able to have them upgrade it without it being a huge cost and causing warranty issues.
