I’m 25 and just got Geico for my 2021 Supra and as soon as I saw the quote online I called immediately called to make sure it was correct. And it was so I bought six month on the spot for $547 with a $500 deductible but with their recommended basic full coverage.

I'm 35, paying through State Farm $96 a month full coverage on the '14 Nissan 370z, and $53 for the '10 Mazda 3. Not bad, but considering paying 6 months to save money in the long run. Have you ever used Chemical Guys cleaning products? If not, definitely recommend them. Not cheap but does a fabulous job.

Yikes... You can get a Car Chip that plugs into the OBD2 port that will monitor your speed in case that happens again. I ran something like that in my car from when I was 16 just because I was always afraid of being pulled over for doing nothing wrong.

It did. For the 2 years I owned the Supra it got cheaper. And I got new insurance with my friends company and it was even less. I spent total with the Supra, GTR and R6 about $1,500 per year. Full coverage and everything. Supra was about $500 of that. R6 was $100

My insurance increases by almost $100/mo with the Supra. I however have USAA so I imagine it's worse for Geico, Nationwide, State Farm etc... The guy explained to me that the insurance is so much higher because the car is new, and expensive. Thus for full coverage it will cost much more.

If your car is financed I'm assuming your lender would want you to provide full coverage insurance. If your car is paid off it's a huge gamble to cheap out on insurance by purchasing liability. Why spend $50k on a car then cheap out on insurance? That just says it's not a good idea to buy the Supra until you are in a better financial situation.

They look, at your age, driving history, and credit score. I have a 500 dollar deductible and I only pay 100 bucks a month. My cost could’ve been 85 a month but, I added in the bundle for my wife’s car. Also they look at the population in your area and accidents in that area. Also I have Geico and I’m retired military they give me a discount for that, and I take a drivers defense class every year that’s another discount. I’ll be 25 in November if that gives you an idea.

Brian, I did some checking with my insurance agent (Auto-Owners) about how much it would cost me to insure a 2020 Toyota Supra premium model just like the one you bought and it was approximately $943.00 a year using a two car discount and it sounds like I have the same insurance coverage that you have except my deductible is $500.00 for collision and $100.00 for comprehensive. I'm 64 years old with a spotless driving record and I would say that you got an excellent insurance rate on your Supra. 😎👍

You didn't show what soap you used to wash car & what you dried it with. If you own your home you can get a big discount having your home & all your vehicles with same co. That is how mine is setup with State Farm Insurance. I don't see how Geico rates can be less than State Farm unless your coverage amounts are lower. Time will tell if your rates increase as insurance companies go by "Statistics" and since your vehicle is so new they will have to wait for more accurate statistics. I am certain all the built in Safety features the Toyota has will have an impact on your rate as well. Congrats on being a good driver with no tickets or accidents. Keep that in mind next time someone wants to race you! Just play it KOOL and let them go that's what I do. It's not worth it $$$

So the issue with just giving the price is you don't know the coverage limits. Do you have unisured motorist? What are your liability limits. Yes you can save a bunch of money by dropping coverages and lowering limits, but if you need them you're screwed. I just checked mine and to get the same coverage its $140/mo. I'm 34 with a clean driving record. So ya if you go from 100k/300k, and and drop it all to to the min its less than $100/mo. Or i can just take a higher deductible and that also significantly lowers the price. But you have to understand when comparing you need to have all the coverages equal.
