NEW Dodge Charger RT // Point Of View Walkaround and Test Drive

Get behind the wheel of the newest generation Dodge Charger RT! This is a POV look at the Charger RT to immerse yourself in! Full point of view test drive and walkaround with the new Dodge Charger RT. Today we check out the possible outgoing Dodge Charger! This is the newest generation Dodge Charger RT up to 2022 model year! This Dodge Charger has a Hemi V8 and sounds awesome! The 2022 Dodge Charger RT surprisingly is pretty slow. It's about as fast as a Toyota Camry. So don't expect to win any races with this. RT Charger packs a 5.7 liter Hemi V8 with 370 horsepower and 395 pounds feet of torque. Paired to an 8 speed automatic transmission it does deliver the power well to the rear wheels. But since it weighs over 4,100 lbs it just doesn't translate to a quick accelerating vehicle. However the V8 is plenty of power to get up to speed and merge with traffic and it does sound good! The Hemi Mopar engine is very beefy with an upgraded exhaust and is nice to listen too. All show no go though with a non supercharged Charger.
Interior is pretty old and basic, but super easy to use. The comfort levels in the 2022 Dodge Charger RT are really nice. Comfortable seats with plenty of padding and a lot of interior space. Trunk and back seats are also super large! Handling is pretty good too for the 2022 Dodge Charger RT and sitting on lowering springs it rode really nice and was flat in the turns. Overall the new Dodge Charger RT is a good option for a great sounding V8 powered large sedan. Plenty of space and practicality. Just don't try and race anyone. This Charger RT is a 2020 model year, however 2022 has not changed at all for the Charger RT.

i currently own a v6 mustang and i love the heck out of it and am looking into trading it. I initially thinking of getting into the GT but than thought that I want more spaces and a more comfy ride. The R/T may be the right way to go

How funny I'm in the same boat. 2014 v6 mustang love this car, but can't deny the interior space and 4 doors would be awesome! Plus that RT sounds amazing. I love the 5.0 coyote though, but the charger is a sweet car. My only concern would be reliability from the hemi tick to just dodge. I don't like judging brands, but haven't heard many good things about FCA.

Nice review. How’s the manual shift mode? How responsive are the paddle shifters and does it give you a lot of freedom?

They are pretty responsive! You can rev out without the car shifting for you, so you have some room to play with it.

I had a brand new 2009 G37S manual trans. and would never buy again. Engine started making strange sounds after a few thousand miles. Quite limited with only 2 doors and tiny trunk and back seat. Does not have V8 hp or trq. I kept it for 3 years and sold it with only 15,000 miles.

I can't stand car reviewers. Search "royalty free music" and play that shit please. People want to know what the sound system is like, and no one wants to just drive along silently. Even if the exhaust does sound good.

I have it enough to hear, but not loud to go deaf, so they all sound good to me.
