You can modify the RT to have more hp than the scat pack, still save on gas and be more reliable. The RT is actually a GREAT platform, especially for mods

If you want a taste of Dodge muscle without the excessive power, the R/T is the way to go.

I got my 2021 charger RT back in January, Torred with plus package. And it’s a blast! My current best top speed sits at 131 mph and current best 0-60 is at 5.4 without the launch control. You get every bit of bang for every buck! I definitely recommend the RT trim for those looking a good looking sedan, with all the space and all the comfort of a four door car with the iconic hemi V8 which sounds amazing(might be the best sounding V8 of all the hemis in my opinion). You’ll still be faster than at least 75% of all the other cars on the road so, definitely not a slow car despite what people driving the top of the V8 cars say, don’t let them disuade you from getting it, you get pretty good fuel economy for a naturally aspirated V8, you don’t have to put premium or 91, 93 gas in it, 89 is the recommended fuselage but you can get away with using 87, but if you’re gonna be flooring it every chance you get(like me) stick with 89 lol!

My 09 300c eagle 5.7 gets 5.5 0-60....I see the newer ones have comparable performance I figure it would be better with 8spd. Should be 5.2

The R/T has the best throaty sound of all the Mopars, for me. My co-worker thought I bought a Scat the 1st day he saw me pull in an heard that 345 HEMI growling at low parking lot speeds. 🧌

I rented this same car from Avis renta car. Had it for 4 days. Just returned it to today. Mine was a Burgundy Hemi R/T. MIne also had the Blacktop package and a full sunroof. Performance was excellant just like in the video. I took it on a trip from Pembroke Pines, Fl to Reddington Beach, FL that is north of Clearwater. Trip was about 4 hours. On the highway I got a best of 28 mpg. That was at 77 mph . In the city , hardly uses any gas. At 80 mph, engine rpms are around 1500. Navigated myself through the performance pages display. Only thing that couldn't be done was going into sport mode or changing the traction parameters. You can see the options but it wouldnt let you change them. Looks like the rental companies disable that for safety reasons. I did notice when going to the timing part of the app that shows 0-60 times, 60 foot times, 1/4 mile times, 1/8 mile times, etc it showed the best quarter mile time. That time was 13.9 sec. Was not by me though. 2 things I didn't like too much were the extended bolsters on the seats and the slight exhaust drone when in 4 cylinder mode. I can see that with extended ownership of the car that the material on the extended bolsters would wear out because your body rubs against them when getting into and out of the car. To remedy this I would always pull the seat back and recline the seatback part of the seat back, making entry and exit a little easier and less were and tear to the material on the seat bolters. Another issue is the slight exhaust drone when the computer kicks in to 4 cylinder mode. All in all, aside from the two issues, very pleased with the Charger R/T rental. Also, surprised and pleased with how good the gas mileage was.

I just bought a 22 Charger rt my best 0-60 is 4.8 Stock . Can't wait to tune it and mod it up. Literally my favorite car I've owned. It's fast whether you wanna believe it or not until you start comparing it to higher trims and it's sounds amazing even stock . The videos do no justice to the sound I promise you especially with the active exhaust!

I have a 19 RT with 200k miles and I live in Cali where the air pressure is equal for all! I get 0-60 4.6 on 305 pilot super sports, zero spin! I also have really light weight wheels and I’ll tell you this! Stock for stock it beats 540i, 640i Mercedes E450 or e53 people forget full-size car for full size car. The charger rt is the fastest in its class! People mistake 340i and s4 for full size! There not, there compact and 500 pounds lighter! It’s not the same thing! Now if you live outside Cali or high altitude this car becomes a pig! But with hellcat superchargers going for 2k and a kit being 2-3k it’s 5k to make it 550hp so….I say again! The charger RT is a great car!

Never been impressed with the R/T at all after I drove one.. Without the hemi, the car is no different from a Toyota or honda with cheap cloth seats. Car has little to no options. My 18 Mercedes c class amg has way more options , premium leather, HUD display, 360 camera, collision det, attention assist , led lighting, burmester , massage seats etc . This charger is ass. I would get a 2020 mercedes e 450 or e43 . This car is dated as hell and hasnt changed since 2015..
