Such solid instruction for any seeker. Stay in the Heart as much as you can & ever increase the practice. Then one day you notice that God is always there in the background, whatever you do. It’s 17th century Mindfulness isn’t it. 🙂

@PhillipBellАй бұрын
@@spiritualbliss7855 Yes, there are many paths. All lead to the same place :) Non-dualists will know about the "progressive" path, which includes practicing Bhakti and Karma Yoga in order to purify the mind. The direct path is extremely challenging when our minds are not prepared for it. Brother Lawrence himself wrote about "no end of difficulties" in keeping himself fixated on God.

I always have vivid dreams, last night I dreamed of Mary, I heared a voice say that she was not pure, but purity itself, and like someone had broke too harshly in a moving car, I was thrown forward in my seat so as to be uncomfortably close to something or someone, something told me to come close, and as I leaned forward I felt a motherly embrace and the world and all its cares fell away. I am not Christian but what else would give birth to man’s connection to god but purity, and where else would we lay down the world but in her motherly embrace.
