I wanted to be carmélite and I thinkGod gives me the grace of mostly being a carmélite when the very day my God in the silence make me feel His love for me . Deep inside I feel my heart full of the presence of Joy of freedom but day by day crosses come along all my life was crosses over crosses , every time the sun was not far in these moments. I had always in mind that my God was suffering as me . Glad was I to share his sufferings across the crosses. Wisdom is to ignore the reason why. From this day my life becomes day by day nothing but JOY and PEACE with my God , through him and in him.

New Testament Jesus is quite different from historical Yeshua, scholars say : www.google.com/amp/s/www.lavanguardia.com/lacontra/20181224/453724246542/jesus-existio.html%3ffacet=amp

@@ralph0149 I made my comment based on the BBC documentary “Jesus was a Buddhist.” It was an amazing piece of work and the historical evidence is there. Watch it yourself then decide. I’m an open minded person who is willing to change my views based on new evidence, even if it completely contradicts my longest, most heartfelt “feelings.” Most of us have be-LIE-fs based on feelings rather than facts because so often the facts are completely contradictory to our feelings. People will in fact fight to the death over beliefs, opinions and views that they know are false. All wars for example are insanity, people murdering other human beings, perfect strangers thousands of miles away, including women and children who have done nothing to them personally and for what? Beliefs, pride, money, all fear based garbage. Anyway, blah blah. “Jesus was a Buddhist” BBC documentary. Lots of very interesting information. 🙂
@ralph01499 ай бұрын
@@youarewhatyourelookingfor4496 I've read some of the evidence and I'm not convinced but I will look into the documentary. For me it doesn't matter where he was at the time but I don't like people trying to rewrite history without some sort of substantiation. It also smacks of cultural appropriation, kind of like nordicists saying that the ancient Romans were blond/blue-eyed. The teachings of Jesus or the Buddha sprang up everywhere around the world in different forms independently of one another. No need to be like the historical equivalent of those people who like to post 'First!' in every comment section. It seems best to heed the message rather than where it came from.

Until you've come to the Conscious Realization that the Infinite Spirit of God is the Only Presence and that the human form you believe you are is a False sense of reality, you will not know what the Dark Night of the Soul is because it is the Battle of Armageddon within when the mortal mind fights to hold onto its lies of mortal thoughts... Adyashanti said his Buddhist nun teacher said this was the greatest piece of Buddhism she ever read (wink, wink): St. John of the Cross: “To reach satisfaction in all desire its possession in nothing. To come to possession in all desire the possession of nothing. To arrive at being all desire to be nothing. To come to the knowledge of all desire the knowledge of nothing. To come to the pleasure you have not you must go by the way in which you enjoy not. To come to the knowledge you have not you must go by the way in which you know not. To come to the possession you have not you must go by the way in which you possess not. To come by the what you are not you must go by a way in which you are not. When you turn toward something you cease to cast yourself upon the all. For to go from all to the all you must deny yourself of all in all. And when you come to the possession of the all you must possess it without wanting anything. Because if you desire to have something in all your treasure in God is not purely your all."

THE MEANING OF LIFE. The Father Creator is life. Therefore, he is the meaning of life. And life gives rise to life and that life is you. And since the Father is in you as you are in him, you are the meaning of life. And as far as it goes for the world, the world provides experience's that aid in the maturing of your soul that you be better equipped to function in the next stage of your existence. One might look at it like, you have to go to grade one before you can go to grade two. However, you are the meaning of life.

How does anyone in this world, this society, desire to be "nothing?". We are so determined to be successful, rich, beautiful, powerful, independent, intelligent, worldly, outspoken, prideful, arrogant, popular, etc etc etc. How does anyone strive for this holiness that only seems to have been attempted back in the 1200's?
@williampaul85568 ай бұрын
If someone wishes to follow me let them deny themselves(false self) and pick up their cross and follow me. Until we know ourselves we can not grasp the meaning of this. We are all fakers in hiding. We are all actors on the stage of our own mind. God, the kingdom of God is within us. I struggle with the faker, the actor, the pretender.

"Last night, after a day in the garden, I asked Robin to explain (again) photosynthesis to me. I can't take in this business of _eating light_ and turning it into stem and thorn and flower... I would not call this meditation, sitting in the back garden. Maybe I would call it eating light. Mystical traditions recognize two kinds of practice: _apophatic mysticism_, which is the dark surrender of Zen, the Via Negativa of John of the Cross, and _kataphatic mysticism_, less well defined: an openhearted surrender to the beauty of creation. Maybe Francis of Assissi was, on the whole, a kataphatic mystic, as was Thérèse of Lisieux in her exuberant moments: but the fact is, kataphatic mysticism has low status in religious circles. Francis and Thérèse were made, really made, any mother superior will let you know, in the dark nights of their lives: no more of this throwing off your clothes and singing songs and babbling about the shelter of God's arms. When I was twelve and had my first menstrual period, my grandmother took me aside and said, 'Now your childhood is over. You will never really be happy again.' That is pretty much how some spiritual directors treat the transition from kataphatic to apophatic mysticism. But, I'm sorry, I'm going to sit here every day the sun shines and eat this light. Hung in the bell of desire.” ― Mary Rose O'Reilley, The Barn at the End of the World: The Apprenticeship of a Quaker, Buddhist Shepherd

The Greatest Lie against God is the belief in a mortal existence separate and apart from God... Where finite form appears to be, Only the Infinite Spirit of God is... The RESURRECTION takes place when the False Appearances of the World Mind of Mortality are dissolved through the Realization and Receptivity of the Spirit of God being the only Infinite, Perfect, Omnipresent Being, thereby knowing ones true self to be the Infinite, Perfect, Omnipresent Spirit of God. OVERCOME the Mortal Belief you are not Immortal, Divine Being!!
