I would like to commend both of you gentlemen for an excellent video. It is A+ all the way. My printer finally needed a new toner cartridge, and I was at a loss as to how to proceed. I removed the yellow cover from the new toner about a year ago and stored in the storage room. I took the toner out to use but the printer still says replace toner. Could it be because the toner has been dried up?

How do you remove the drum to replace? Can't say that you "How to change your toner/Drum. You never did anything with the drum

agree. I have replaced drum in the past , and never the toner. poster does give some pointers though , that are useful: drum and toner are in the same part, right next to toner.

Says "how to change your toner/drum" Only shows how to change the toner and clean the drum. How about cleaning the drum??

The toner cartridge and drum unit are consumed separately in the Brother machine. Verify that you only replace toner cartridges and not drum unit. For further assistance call Brother 1888-507-2003 (US and Canada).

Good video, but REALLY poor design on Brother's part. SEVEN STRAIGHT MINUTES OF WIGGLING and a fight to the death before the drum can out!
