Over time, laser printers can become dirty due to excess toner leaking out of the cartridges. This video explains how to clean the inside of your laser printer. Most minor issues can be fixed with a simple clean, you just need a clean cloth and water.

The ink tank system appears to be much better than the cartridge system kzbin.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 and a lot cheaper to run. The machine was easy to set up. A small point but I thought they'd be a USB cable included to help with the set up but there was none. I've been using it now for a few weeks and it seems like a good product and superior to my previous printers which were all troublesome HP machines.

I have a canon imageclass laser printer. Is there any way to fix white spots coming out on my prints? It seems to be happening continuously. Random white dots coming out on every paper differently. (We're using heavy paper)

it depends on which canon imageclass laser printer do you have. may be the fusers, or the toner cartridge

So, it says not to use compressed air because of moisture but I have an AC blower which would not introduce moisture. If I brought my printer outside, would it be ok to then blow it out? I mean, I'm no professional so I'm not going to invest in a vacuum that is rated for toner.

if you blow air inside the printer, toner powder and debris could enter inside the laser scanner unit and other delicate part of the printer as sensors

I cleaned the inside area after removing the toner cartridge (HP P2015d, btw) with isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth. After replacing the toner cartridge, the printer won't print properly. Pages come out either completely blank or with just the faintest hint of the darkest text. Any suggestions to fix this?

Check the transfer roller. Is it damp or out of position? Was the toner cartridge under light for too much time?

think metal contacts on sides of toner need to make good contact with the metal parts on side of printer, to transfer voltage.
