Kilka dni temu po ponad roku nie używania zaschła głowica, po obejrzeniu tego filmu kupiłam zestaw do czyszczenia 2 rodzaje płynów, problem polegał na braku odpowiedniej strzykawki i wężyka. Strzykawka musi być z końcówką by można było naciągnąć wężyk o fi 2mm, wężyk kupiłam w aptece - zestaw do kroplówki - idealnie pasuje, strzykawka do odsysania. Film idealnie pokazuje co robić !!!! What happened if some air enters to the printhead? What happened if I use isopropil alcohol? Can we get the same result? When you inject the special liquid into the printhead, where does the liquid falls down?

When injecting the alcohol, the syringe was very hard to press and withdraw. I worked it this way numerous times. Still bad printing. Finally, I more forcefully injected the alcohol and then heard a "POP." I thought the black ink line had detached somewhere or the print head was now unclogged I could then easily inject and withdraw the alcohol. And, i could hear air being forced out of the print head. So, finally, after several cleaning cycles, by the machine, my black print is outstanding! I determined that the "POP" I heard was a valve or clog that was opened up.

I bought one of these printer cleaning kits and it just arrived today and it's a ripoff. The tubing is way too short. And it doesn't fit over the head of the syringe. So that's a bust. I was reluctant to even try this, but another video made it look really easy--and recommended the exact cleaning kit I purchased. So, waste of money.

I tried this using more than half the bottle of liquid. Only a about only third of the liquid came out. So what's absorbing the rest of the liquid? Where is it going? Will it overflow inside my printer?😧

I have a question. I have a Brother MFC-J5520DW and I tried cleaning the nozzles the same way you showed by plugging a tube with a syringe onto the intake port, except I used warm water. My Cyan was the one that was the most clogged and when I pressed the syringe not much was happening, only a tiny bit of Cyan was coming out onto the paper towel, then all of the sudden all the water from the syringe started squirting out of the Yellow intake port while it was plugged into the Cyan port. I played with it a little bit then water started coming out of the Magenta and Black ports... Is that normal, or did I brake something by giving it more pressure?

Dear Master. Help. I did the head cleaning as you showed, it worked. Black has started. Works. After two days, I want to print something, code 48 is shown. There is no jam, but the head is on the right side and I do not want to move from the machine or manually for China. When I pushed with a syringe, I didn't know that the head should go out and I think I flooded everything under the plastic. I can't remove the plastics from above, something is holding it on the left side. I managed to do a cleaning reset, but the printer now turns on for a moment after connecting to the power supply and goes off. Do something Master.

just want to say i tried this and it worked. all my printer heads were clogged and now they all work fine. so anyone hesitant dont be works great and much cheaper than buying a brand new printer. Anyone have and advice so this doesnt happen again in the future.

Some of what I have learned about these printers and cleaning the heads of my own Brother...... Don't let the cartridges run dry, when you get the low ink warning, yes, there is more ink left, but try and resist the temptation to stretch out every last drop! Try and print something once a day or at least once a week.

Hola muy buenas tardes, ojala pudiera apoyarme con un problema que presento mi impresora Brother MFC-J825DW, la desarme para realizar una limpieza, la arme y cuando la conecte a la energía eléctrica me aparece en la pantalla "Apagando equipo" "apague después" "acabar trabajos" por lo que no arranca nada en la impresora. Yeh, also some of that special water to run my cars engine. Water is a good solvent but it does not suffice for every need. On the other hand pure water is non-conductive so if you are really into the water cure immerse the entire printer in your bath tub, let me know how it works out.

It's most likely distilled water which you can get at CVS. The ink is water soluble .
