I didn’t know they had one for iron on fabric tape. I have the P touch label maker, but it is for sticking on other things using more of a tape substance. But, I love that thing too. I will have to look into this! Thanks for the information.

I have a Brother P-touch label maker that I bought several years ago. It came with adhesive vinyl type labels which I used to label storage totes, etc. I was about to buy this one based on your video for fabric labels until I looked at the replacement cartridges and saw that my model from several years ago was compatible. Anyway, I have ordered them to try in my current P-touch. Anxious to see if they will work and save me from having to buy this newer model (money saved to use for wool appliqué!).

I hope they work with your current model. One thing I don't like so much about the fabric labels that I bought for this machine is that they have a shiny look to them and feel like plastic. I would love to find a self adhesive fabric label that really looks and feels like a regular cotton fabric. The ribbon cartridges are nice, but they need to be sewn on.

@@ArianeZurcher212 So this one is a satin ribbon made by Brother for the machine. It prints black on a white satin ribbon. This is NOT similar to what you were using? Patty Nelson - yes, but it is not self adhesive. It will need to be sewn down.

I am SO excited by this little machine! I just hate sewing those labels on and now I don't have to!! I haven't found any iron on ribbon, but am wondering if I can use a fusible to adhere them. I'll have to experiment...

@@ArianeZurcher212 I am left handed and from Germany. When I grew up, my home ed teacher then threw my stuff in my lap and said: I can’t teach you! Later on in the OR, this nurse said to me, you must have never had ‘home Ed’ and I thought, you wait and see! So every plastic surgeon I could find I asked, if I could assist and my students were elated when I taught them, esp. my left handed ones, later on when I was medical director of many pediatric ERs and my colleagues in the community could always tell, when I sent a patient back to them, who he/she was sewn by. There was something in your presentation that made me think you were left handed. Good riddens, Comrade! My great grandmother was a wonderful cross stitcher from Eisenach, that is where Luther came from.

I have an older model I use all a lot! Time to upgrade but do they list which adapter to use? There seems to be a lot of different ones offered and I hate to return things. I have also stopped buying from 3rd party sellers unless it's fulfilled by Amazon because I've heard a lot of complaints. I got burned once and Amazon refunded my money although they were not obligated to. Just extra hassles to go through. Thankfully this is a Prime product. Also, what setting did you use on your iron to get the "perfect" adhesion? Thanks for all your helpful videos

The ribbon tape you linked showed an adapter but it says compatible with PT-D210 though, not PT-D215e. So confusing.

I just added the link to the adaptor, but here it is again: amzn.to/3hwVxBZ I used the "Nylon" setting on my steam iron and used a dry iron. That seemed to work best. It adheres pretty quickly. Love this little machine! ❤️
