I’m a nurse and this is the best hairstyle for me especially having to go to the gym 2/3 times a week spray with water and go I love it , thanks for all your information you both have beautiful hair ❤

Woot woot! Nurses are the real MVPs! I find a lot of people in health professions opt for Microlocs but it’s still so rare I see them! How often do you see them and how often do people question you about your hair?

Y'alls hair looks beautiful. Carl looks great in a Dashiki. And yeah it is pretty annoying when people don't understand what it takes to maintain microlocs lol. They act like it's no big deal. Smh. You inspired me to start my own microlocs a few years ago and it's the best thing I could've done for my hair. I love the microlocs lifestyle! Thanks Queen!

I’m so happy to have inspired! How did you choose to start and maintain your locs?

Great to see your hair flourishing. I loc'd my hair 2y ago and was inspired by yours as it's very similar in texture and colour. I can't believe it only takes him 7hrs. It takes me a week if I solidly push and about 12h+ altogether! The main 'issue' I have had is tying my hair up and washing my hair - specifically getting the product out of it. My hair is so dense!

THANK YOU! Gathering info before I start my microlocs, so I’m currently deep diving your channel and the sister with the channel All in the Jeans. Thank you again for the time and effort you put into the videos to share you and your brother’s loc journeys. Big love and lots of Ashé! 🙏🏾❤️

His locs are looking great. You did a great job with this install and I give him mad props for his maintenance. Enjoyed seeing you both together. (Off topic: Does he have an IG for his art?)

Queen...thank you for sharing this. I was wondering how your brother's loc journey was going. His hair looks soooo good. And of course, yours always looks good. God bless you both. Thanks again for sharing.

Your locs look stunning! Is that your natural brown hair color, or did you achieve it with dye? If not natural, could you please share how you got that color?

Just 6-8 hours? I stretch my retie over a week, sometimes more 😬. I think mostly because I'm still super anal about my parting unfortunately.
@QueenEleem6 ай бұрын
I know right? The boy has it easy! Mine takes 12-14 over 7ish days. But he’s a guy so taking a day to do his hair is annoying. AND GOOD FOR YOU being specific about parting!!! That’s what we like to hear! Your Microlocs will be thanking you down the road!! Is there any info you’d like to hear more of or courses or tutorials you’d be interested in?

@@QueenEleem 💜 hmm I think wash routine for loc health. I'm two years in, on the cusp of loc maturity with two sections that were bleached and dyed red. Sadly one of my color treated locs broke off. I'd love to avoid anymore shenanigans 😅

I’m not surprised at all that a block person said that. I have gotten the worst comments from my hair from black hair. I’m a guy and I have Sisterlocks ™️ and I had black women say they it looks like i have a stillborn died in my hair. But i’ll say white girls (and white guys) love my hair.

Is he your son or boyfriend ? You look young but the way you started the video reminds me of other loc videos seeing moms talk about their sons locs. Either way your sons hair looks good you did great
